Liquitex Heavy Body Classic 6 Set

This is a great starter set of excellent professional quality heavy body acrylic paint. There are lots of "student" starter sets out there, the differences between student and professional grades are in the saturation of the pigment and the quality, it is absolutely worth getting this well known brand at professional grade even if you are dabbling for the first time, the vivid colours are a delight. Heavy body paints are generally the most flexible and preferred because of the thick buttery texture that mimics oil paints, and this texture is preserved after drying. Heavy body paints can be thinned down (just a little) with water or preferably with a fluid medium if desired.

Absolutely love these paints, they are highly professional and are very good for layering as they dry quite quickly, especially when it comes to abstract art. Although I am no professional I really enjoyed using these paints, they did not stain my brushes which was good. The colours are bright and vibrant, they mix together very well. I was surprised by how much ml of paint came with this package but nevertheless the more the better. I would definitely use these again.

Nice starter set, good quality paints, comes with small canvas. Paint brushes poor quality but ok for short use.
