Travelon Windshield Cleaner and Defogger

This was great! I have no idea how my windshield has such a film from last time I used a window cleaner on it, but I tried vinegar & it didn’t touch it. This little pad did the trick!!!! It took off all the filmy, smeary yuck and made my windshield clean again! Great little product!!!

The answer is that many new products rarely live up to their promises. Perhaps it's like giving a raise to an employee simply for doing the job they were hired to do. Sadly, this is the world we now live in like it or not. So whenever a product actually lives up to its promise, we are overjoyed! I can admit I've tried practically every kind of "defogging" product on the market, most amounting to little more than spitting inside your goggles before a dive into the unknown and sometimes darkened depths. Even the quality brands that enjoy a fair to good reputation from such as Baush & Lomb to the notorious Rain-x fail to simply do what they're suppose to do and promise to do all fail the windshield test, especially for night time driving with onslaught of oncoming.traffic and their headlights glaring through the laminated glass only to reveal every streak, smear, and distortion through the film these "defoggers" leave behind. However, Travelon seems to have managed to perform as promised. Not only that, they remove the film from the environment and even other similar products that fail to do simply what they were suppose to do. Frankly, whatever these chamois-like sponges are treated with a chemical concoction that not only leaves your windshield sparkling, streak-free and most importantly haze-free even to the most revealing of tests, that of oncoming headlights. And if you happened to miss a spot, you simply grab the sponge and give it a quick wipe in one direction and that area returns to pristine clarity. So this endorsement was an easy task as the product not only treats your windshield against fogging, it actually cleans the dirt and/or residue from a variety of sources and for a self-confessed driving enthusiast (occasionally too enthusiastically) this simple sponge is a Godsend! While I am in the dark as to why this product doesn't work the same for everyone will forever remain a mystery. Was the driver's windshield too dirty? Perhaps the driver is a heavy smoker? Was there some un-named incompatible product residue just lying in wait on the interior surface of the driver's glass? Personally, I can only hazard more than a hundred hypotheses as to why these individuals failed to reap the similar and remarkable benefits from this product that I have truly enjoyed. But happily, I do so behind the unequaled pleasure of tracking traffic though a perfectly clear windscreen on a clear night thanks to a product that far exceeds the herd of products that accomplish little more spit on goggles. I should mention that this sponge as a cleaner has little or no effect on water spots so a good glass cleaner such as Perfect Glass is a good prep as this step also extends the life of the Travelon Windshield Cleaner and Defogger. This sponge/buffer/defogger is AMAZING for car windshields! I bought one for my partner because he was so fascinated by it. He has pretty foggy windows, and it worked like a dream on his! The only issues I have would be how it’s not able to get into the corners/crevices of the windshield without you shoving it and having a long wingspan. Another issue would be that if you leave it out in the seat your car, it’ll dry rot from the sun bearing down on it. It’s always best to put these in a spot like your glove compartment or center console

Cleans window ok. But defog none

Long time ago I had one like this. It was amazing for cleaning and prevent fogging the windshield from inside. I sold it with that car... Now, with my current vehicle, I often have the problem of the windshield fogging. I tried different cleaners and chemicals but still.. I decided to look for the one I had or something like it. This one is greatly doing the job so far. My recommendation is to peel that black branding tag off. It should not be there... Also, wash it before the first use. It makes cleaning the inner side of the windshield very easy and prevent the fogging for longer time. All without using any chemicals. Just wipe dry it from inside. Very easy to use.

My work truck doesn’t have defrost that’s the reason for buying this and it works GREAT!! Driver side is where I used the sponge, passenger side is when I used paper towels

This product does not work as described. I used this product as soon as it rained, my interior window was foggy so I rubbed the pad across my window and it left dull smudges everywhere I used it. I had to remove the smudges with my thumb so I could see clearly.

Love this pad. I use it to get rid of the film on the inside windshield. I’ve tried cleaning with liquid sprays which were a pain, and almost impossible for me to clean. All you have to do with this pad is just run it across the window and the film disappears.

So far I am wow’d! I’ll do another follow up but for cleaning the window it’s absolutely amazing. I recommend wedding it a little bit the sponge on one side and wipe down the area or whatever that you’re cleaning and then on the other side just don’t wanna make it too wet just a little depth it’s unbelievable. It cleans so easily and, I don’t know about the fog. I’m gonna follow up on that when it rains that’s what my window would normally fog up so yeah, but I’m really wild. Just how it’s excellent for cleaning the window out the outside too. I only did the inside and just my window driver side Anyway, just for cleaning I highly recommend this but again I’ll follow up if it’s a good fogger… I’m looking for a good defogger so I hope this is it. Good product Removed the fogging of windscreen within 2-3 times of usage.

Really helps clear up a foggy windshield. I found it worked well

This is the best defogging thingy I ever purchased! It works in wet humid Vancouver - in winter especially!!! I was buying other things to travel from travelling bought this bc it's hard to deal with condensation and humidity on windows - so fast, so easy, just keep the small sponge on my dashboard. Easy. Great product. Very good price for quality!
