This product is phenomenal for taste. I dont know what health benefits / L -theanine content this has. But the taste has absolutely zero bitterness which i love. I drink matcha straight up without sweeteners or milk so the taste is pretty important to me. Having tasted matcha from pretty much from all high end brands, this decaf matcha has good flavor considering the fact that its decaf. Usually decaffeination process takes out a lot of flavor from matcha powders. But this product has held up good amount of flavor. When you make a strong cup and drink it, there is a faint bitterness that disappears quickly. The finish is pretty smooth. Also froths up nicely with a hand blender That being said it definitely lacks the complexity and punch that the ceremonial matcha have. The higher end matchas have great complexity in flavor but they are not decaf. Pretty much all matcha on amazon is low quality. This one is an exception and it's decaf. So if you want something to drink at night and with a decent taste. This is it. The good: 1) Decent complexity 2) Decaf 3) Good flavor 4) No bitter finish (There is faint hint of bitterness for the first 2 seconds after you sip it and it quickly disappears. Which is VERY characteristic of good matcha) Bad: 1) EXPENSIVE

The cost of this tea was $44.94 for 1.06 ounces of tea. Probably equivalent to 5 teas of tea. Have not measured. The tea comes with no instructions for how much tea is required per serving. I purchased this tea because if was decaf and hoping that a minimal amount of caffeine was in the tea. My heartrate increased leading me to believe that the caffeine level was high enough for me to have a this reaction. This resulted in using not even a half of a teaspoon. Like I mentioned, no instructions appeared with this item!

The flavor is as good as many matcha brands. The problem is the cost is so high. I tend to mix it with other matcha just to lower the caffeine exposure

OUTRAGEOUS price! My mistake - I misread the amount per container. One oz for $80?! AND it's NOT returnable.

This is a rich and flavorful matcha and froths well. Finely milled, beautiful color, etc. 3 stars simply due to the exorbitant price. They have to do better on the pricing or it will become a ‘one and done’ for most customers.

I purchased this because it said decaf, which I am very sensitive to. I don't drink caffeine anything after 10:30 am because I won't be able to sleep...Received it yesterday and tried last night at 10pm. It is what they say it is, decaf Matcha for night time enjoyment. Beautiful fresh green color, texture is baby powder smooth and smells Matcha wonderful. Comes in a pop off can with screw lid, but kind of wish they put it in a foil pouch instead of the see through paper pouch to provide extra cover for light exposure and moisture preventative... Pretty hefty price to consider for future purchases but definitely a thumbs up for decaf importance...

Good product. Taste and color is excellent for a decaf Matcha. Enjoyable for those who don't tolerate caffeine well. Price is a little high. Discount for ordering more than 1 tin would be nice.

There’s no other decaf matcha on the market, so you don’t have many choices if you need to purchase a product like this. The container is extremely small and expensive, and it doesn’t have a lot of matcha powder for $40+. Decaf tea sometimes also taste extremely weak, and my worry came true when I tried it and found it relatively tasteless. I had to use double to triple the amount to make a cup of matcha tea, and a matcha latte significantly reduces the flavour of the matcha itself. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone, and I wish I hadn’t bought this and stuck with decaf tea leaves instead. As long as you know what you’re getting yourself into prior to purchasing, you might be ok.

Item arrived quickly and I’m pleased with it

I will not be buying here anymore, as it is $7 more now that other places.
