pleased with the product
This was a solid two day project to assemble and definitely requires two people. Having said that it is very well engineered, and fit together perfectly. The roof panels require careful attention to alignment or else the bolt holes will not line up with each other and with the frame. The recessed plastic bits on the angled top sections of the roof panels were really fiddly and kept coming off in the installation process, but with care can be slid into place without dislodging them. Overall, the fit is good and the end product is appealing and solid. Good value for price.

Great value for the money.
This thing will take long to build even if you're handy. Great value for the money. Everything came together as it should. Instructions weren't the greatest but understandable enough. FYI If I were charging to build this i would probably charge more than it costs. Note that the corners are triangular which I didn't notice when purchasing. Not sure how it will hold up in super high winds but it seems very sturdy. Great privacy if that matters. I haven't really used the bug screen because I like the openness. But its nice that its included.

Be patient
The final product is pretty good. There are so many fasteners that it can feel like you will never be done but you will be. We took it easy and built it over the course of three days and everything went together well.

Pretty amazing, with some small improvements desired
This has been a fantastic build. 99% of it went together without much issue, with only a few areas that needed to be drilled out for the self-taping screws to actually go in. The instructions are just pictures and honestly work pretty well, I didn't find many moments where I needed much info, but things can get somewhat confusing. Ours was a rectangle design, so it gets a little confusing when some areas aren't symmetrical, like putting up the sun panels and finding out they can't reach to close, because the side you put up and where, apparently matters. Also, reaching some of the locations when assembling the roof feels like a job for a gymnast who can bend and contour in small areas and weighs next to nothing to reach. I have a few screws I wish I could go back through and retighten but we're long past that point now. The size for us was perfect, we lifted about 4inches off the patio and will be securing it this high to match our doors swing. The roof heights are fantastic with how high they are, plenty of room for hanging out light and fan. All in all, it took me about 3days of 2-3hours to knock out by myself. I used counter weights and string to hold up the corners until I could secure them together, but another set of hands definitely would have made this streamlined. Quality wise was an A/A-. A few areas can be seen where they attempted to punch out a hole, realized it missed and realigned. I painted over this spot to prevent future issues as the paint was cut up from the press. Also the railing system for the curtains was bent and needed a little love to bend back. Fortunately nothing was too drastic like some of the photos I've seen and just needed a little persuasion. Also some of the screws had heads in them that were different sizes for Phillips or the nut sizes were a hair smaller than the wrench could grab onto. No big deal though for us, we had enough spares in the spare bag. We're extremely happy with how it turned out and can't wait to see how it holds up over the next few years.

Patience needed.
Harder to put together than what I was expecting. There are these plastic pieces that go on the edges of the roof that DO NOT stay on !!!! Directions could be better. But, now that it’s together, it’s great.

Finish the entire frame before putting on panels
The installation instructions were not good, as the steps they suggest were in a horrible order. For instance, the instructions suggested sliding the roof panels in and then framing it secure, but when I did this, the panels slid off and almost slit my hand! Very dangerous. I had to watch a video on YouTube to assemble the 12 x 16 properly, and their steps made more sense, so I recommend that. My biggest advice to future buyers is to FINISH THE ENTIRE FRAME FIRST before even thinking about the roof panels. That way, your roof panels won't slide off. That said, once I finally got it together, the gazebo itself has been great. It’s withstood rain without any leaks, and the design is modern and adds a nice touch to my yard. It’s sturdy, spacious, and overall performs well. Just be prepared to bypass the instructions and use alternative assembly methods, and you'll end up with a solid product.

Curtains!
Well, we love the structure but the curtains are not the right size for this product. The curtains measure 40 linear feet and the 10x12 gazebo is clearly 44 linear feet. Despite requesting the correct curtains to be sent in multiple back and forth emails with the seller, they have not done so. I’ve sent photos, explained the issue, and tried to be patient, but I still have no functional curtains. If you don’t have all 4 sides closed and zipped, the curtains are loose at the bottom so in wind you just get hit underneath the gazebo. This, of course is by design, but can’t be avoided when you can’t put all four sides of curtains up. It’s awful that the structure is great only to fail to perform because the curtains sent are the incorrect ones. The seller has been polite but ineffective- asking me to confirm details repeatedly instead of just sending the stupid curtains. It’s a complete waste of time. I wish it was possible to buy curtains somewhere else but the grommets are specific for the hooks which are not removable once assembled.
