I love this book! It is informative and interesting at the same time. Love the little bits of history thrown in. Would highly recommend this book to anyone traveling in those countries!!

Organized for people who want travel ideas. Not convenient for someone who wants Country/city information.

Thought this would be a great resource for a tour we have coming up.....NOT! More like places to drive yourself. Dont waste your money.

I used it to plan a road trip along the high alpine roads in the three countries. It was very helpful and it’s great that you can link itineraries to create longer road trips. It is full of useful information and suggestions.

Amo i libri di Lonely Planet con itinerari e ho comprato questo per un regalo. Mi aspettavo la copertina rigida, che non c'era (ma forse ho letto male io la descrizione): si tratta di un tascabile compatto, che offre qualche spunto per itinerari in Germania, Austria e Svizzera. Il testo è del 1996 e questa è una ristampa: è vero che i posti sono sempre gli stessi, ma forse il libro è un po' datato. Non sono soddisfatta al 100%.
