helpful cleaning gel.
cleaning gel Great Dust Remover! I purchased this to use in my car to get into those hard-to-clean areas. There’s some reason I can’t get in the cracks with a rag. I was trying to find something that would help me totally clean the car. Especially those crumbs that sneak on the side of things. It worked great. then again I clean my car pretty regularly so it’s not overly dirty. It’s just those cracks in between and I can’t reach above me. Here are the pros/cons of the product from my initial test: Pros: - Ease of use: This is very easy to use. Just open it up, pull it out, and dab it into the dusty areas. It was able to reach places I could not go with a rag. Also, if your wallet and you stick it into a little crack, it’s much easier to get out of those hard-to-get places. It’s not sticky and doesn’t stick to your hands, which is helpful. Nothing like sticky stuff in my hands. This is good for loose dust, even though it slides on the side of the seat, so I can’t get it. I even dabbed it on my carpet, and it didn’t stick to it, but it got the crumbs up. It worked well at removing the dust in the vents and some corners you could not get a rag into. Another thing I really liked about it is that it doesn’t scratch your car‘s upholstery. It’s very gentle and easy to use. Cons: It works a little slower than just dragging your rag over things, but at least it cleans things that you usually wouldn’t have been able to reach. The other thing I’m not sure about is how long it will last before you have to replace it. I have used it several times, and it still works, but I think eventually, it will fill up with dirt,, and you need to get a clean one.

Removes Grit Efficiently
We keep this container in our Honda CRV to clean the tight crevices a wipe will not do . It works very well and leaves no residue.

Great product overall
I love that this is a simple a reusable item to keep in my center console and help keep the dust away. It does have a bit of a smell but it doesn’t necessarily smell bad. I also just discovered it doesn’t work as well when it’s cold out (which makes sense but didn’t really think it through). I’ve had this several months now and have used it over and over to get the dust and crumbs out of small nooks and crannies in the car. It does not feel overly sticky on your hands but will work well to clean up without needing to have wipes or a vacuum on hand. Overall a great product!

An Alright Dust Remover
I pruchased this to use in my vehicle to get into those hard to clean areas. I ended up using it in my dad's work truck to really put it to the test. He is working in a very dusty area with the red dirt....his truck was covered in the thick dust, so a perfect test of the product. He and I cleaned what we could with rags, but I wanted to try this stuff out on the creases and vents. It worked alright. Here are the pros/cons of the product from my initial test: Pros: - Ease of use: This is very easy to use. Just open it up, pull it out, and start dabbing it into the dusty areas. I found that tapping the dust to get the worst of it off before dragging it over a second time worked best. - Cleaning: This is good for loose dust. It worked really well at removing the dust in the vents and some of the corners you could not get a rag into. Cons: - Cleaning: This did not remove some of the stuck on dust that a rag would have removed. I also found that getting in tighter crevices did not work very well either. It also left a little greasy feel that may attract dust or that some people may not like on their dashes or inside their vehicles. - Cleaning the product: With as heavy of dust that was in my dad's truck, the gel got pretty dirty. I am not sure the best way to clean it, or if you can even clean it. Rags and towels are easy...just throw them into a washing machine. I'm guessing this is use until completely dirty and throw away. - Messy: This also leaves a greasy feel to your hands. With rags, you can usually minimize this, but this stuff gets all over your fingers, especially the finger you use to press it into vents. Overall, this is something that is a neat idea, but it really is not great. It worked okay at getting loose dirt and dust off of surfaces, but you could also get the same results from using something like tape or wrapping a small tool with some cloth and using cleaning agents. This might make a cheap, fun stocking stuffer if you want to get something that is different. Personally, I don't think I'll buy this again and just use rags.

Good quality
Good stocking stuffer or gift for little money. These work well to get the junk out of hard to reach places in your car or computer/work station.

Does what it says! Get all the crumbs and crap out of the cracks! Makes your car look like it was just professionally detailed. Vacuuming can only do so much, this seals the deal!

Great for cleaning slatted air vents, keyboards and other electronics
Love these cleqnin putties! I did order for to give a stocking stuffers to my grandchildren. The putties were received with surprisingly high thanks. I never would have expected the reaction to this goofy little product. I use it myself in both my car for like air vents and around the gear shift area to get out find particles that I can't always get out with window cleaner and paper towel. And I use it on my keyboards andthe bottom of my mice and other electronics and the air intake vents for the home heating system. Those especially are hard to clean because of the slats and the fact that they're screwed into the wall. I would buy these over and over again.

Didn't work for my car
I had hoped that this would be my save all miracle product but unfortunately for my car this didn't work. I know that a lot of people were able to get it to work and I don't doubt that, but it just didn't work for me. I do want to say first that this isn't greasy oily sticky like I thought it was going to be which was a major plus. I've handled much slime in my days and I figured this was kind of going to be like a kid's slime, and it is not. It's not going to make a mess. I don't know if you got it on your clothes if it would leave any kind of residue but it definitely isn't going to get your hands all nasty. It has a really pleasant kind of citrusy clean smell as well. It's not overpowering. I have a Ford Escape and the type of dashboard that I have is almost kind of like a rubbery texture. Every other car that I've had it's been more of like a vinyl where you could just take a Swiffer duster to it and dust it as many times as you want. My dashboard from day one embeds any little piece of dust that gets in it. It is almost impossible to get off with a duster or a microfiber cloth, I usually end up having to use a lint roller a really really sticky tape and get up in there. I was hoping that this product again would be my saving Grace and I wouldn't have to do that. Unfortunately it didn't work. I tried it around my center console area which I keep very clean as it is and I did see it pick up a couple of little pieces in the crevices around the shifter but it wasn't really picking up the regular dust that was around my stereo controls. That I could have just wiped off with my hand so I thought it was weird it wasn't picking it up. And then I tried it on my troublesome dashboard and it didn't pick up anything at all. I really got up in there I was hanging over the steering wheel trying to get this to pick up anything off my dashboard but it just didn't work at all. When I was finally done after about 20 minutes of trying to clean any and everything in my car I could touch with this, there was only a little bit of dust or rogue pieces of whatever that were on it. It wasn't sticky it was really smooth and it didn't feel like it had any grip at all. I used it almost immediately after getting it and it was in a very tightly sealed container so I know that it didn't get dried out or expired it just wasn't really picking up anything. I then just tried to pick up a hair that I plucked off my own head and it wasn't even grabbing that. So I don't know what that means it seems like this is working for other people but it just didn't work for me. I really really wanted it to work though I cannot express how much I tried to get this to work it just felt like a smooth gooey slime that you would play with and didn't clean much. I hope this works for other people it's not really expensive so it might be worth it but if you have that rubbery texture in any of your dash or console areas and you know that just a regular duster doesn't normally pick things up I do not know if this would work for you. It's a good idea though.
