Musiclily 11 Hole SSS Strat Pickguard Scratch Plate for Fender USA/Mexican Standard Stratocaster Modern Style Electric Guitar, 4Ply Vintage Tortoise

I bought this to make my Affinity Strat look more like a 60s reissue. It was a very close match but 1 hole didn't line up and I needed to drill 3 extra holes as my originally scratchplate was 8 hole. None of that is a criticism against this product, and I was prepared I might need to do some drilling. It's very well made and great value for money and looks superb on my red Strat. Just be prepared you might need to do some fettling if you're putting it on a Squier.

Bought this for my son's Squier I found out when fitting it that there were two small holes required in order for the plate to fit. No major issue just took some careful drilling of 3 small holes to allow the volume pots to sit flush with the plate. After that fitting this was simple and my son was very happy with the new scratch plate!

Installation wasn’t to hard except for one screw hole which didn’t line up. Would be very difficult without taking the string off so I would recommend getting another set along with the pick guard. It looks good with the black line around the edge on mine, but it arrived covered in scratches even after the film was removed, luckily they aren’t visible from all angles, but it’s still of questionable quality. Otherwise looks great after taking the time to fit it. * It took me a few weeks to realise, but for some reason there are 2 plastic sheets to peal off the first one was weak and easy. But the second one was very tight stuck down and thin. After removal it look great.

Really nice pickguard especially for the price looks very pro. Let's hope it makes me pro in the future... Had to drill one hole as it didnt line up like others have mentioned. Apart from the one screw it was a very simple change over. Highly recommend.

It came quick and we'll packed but that's Amazon tha usually works pretty amazing. The pickguar seems solid but the cut is not very good, I had to sand it down on the right side. Only 3 out of 11 holes are in the right position but even though this is the first time I have bought a pickguard I've read a lot of reviews about pickguards (including proper Fenders brand) and it seems to be a normal thing, apparently everybody drills the guitars to make the holes match. The appearance is good though. So, solid, wrongly cut, holes don't much and decent look.

I saw a review that said it’s better to go with ivory if you’re looking for the classic pale mint green colour that Fender has. Absolutely spot on. The screws line up perfectly too. You do get a spare set of 12 screws with the pickguard, but the OEM screws will do fine. The silver foil wasn’t cut out for all the holes, so be mindful of that. It isn’t difficult at all. All in all, great buy!

Ich habe den Pickguard auf meine squier Bulletstrat geschraubt und ich bin dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. Ich musste allerdings ein wenig nachhelfen um es passend zu machen. Es fehlen die kleinen Hilfsbohrungen um die Drehregler für Tone und Volume am Platz zu halten.Da hatte ich vor dem Kauf gar nicht drauf geachtet und hab die einfach selber gebohrt. Das ganze Pickguard war ein wenig zu lang und ich habe mit einer Pfeile ein wenig Material an der Verbindung zum Nacken der Gitarre weggenommen. ca. 0,5-1mm, danach hat es mit ein bisschen drücken gepasst, wer aber einen floating trem benutzt müsste wahrscheinlich noch etwas mehr abtragen. Die Bohrungen haben mit meiner Gitarre auch nicht 100% gepasst, die Schrauben hab ich dann einfach so reingedreht, ist ja nur holz. Fazit: Würd ich nochmal kaufen? Wenn dann nur wegen des Preises, aber wahrscheinlich eher nicht. Bin ich zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis? Ja, auf jeden Fall

Very close to the colour on the screen. I would have called it "mint" green if I had not seen it next to a real "mint" green, but the "green-ness" is very muted, and subtle. It is a nice blend of vintage, aged white, and "mint" green, so I guess Ivory is a good name for it. Seems to be very solid construction, does not feel flimsy. I don't have to line it up with pre-existing holes, so I can't comment on the accuracy of the holes.
