Bought the 6 pack Drawer Doctor and it worked as described. I used them for some drawers purchased from IKEA. Instead of placing one band on each drawer I used 2. The drawers are made of press wood so I spaced them out to distribute the stress. I do think that they are pricey for the materials used. But overall, this kit provided good results and seem very sturdy. It's been months now since the install and the bottom of the drawers are holding up well. It works as advertise. Just buy it, install it, and best of all...forget about it.

The drawer bottoms in my 40" wide IKEA Malm cabinet all sag. The front panel bows out and bottoms fall out of their slot. This kit is the perfect cure! It took me 30 minutes to repair four drawers. NOTE: The supplied hardware is junk! The screws are too long for IKEA drawer fronts. If you use them, they'll poke thru the drawer. In addition, the screw heads are soft and deform when driving in. Get #6 x 1/2" screws (3 per drawer) and this system will work great for you.

Bought one of these kits over a year ago so it was an obvs choice when I needed another repair on the same dresser. I load my dressers with lots of heavy clothes and this ikea dresser was made of paper so it really sags then eventually the bottom falls out. These straps are pretty simple to install and they def hold up. A pc of wood would work just as good but this was something I could do without any help and that’s worth the extra few bucks for me.

I had multiple drawer chests and sagging of drawers is a problem i faced for a long time. I was excited when I saw this product on Amazon. I thought it will be the solution to the sagging problem BUT i was disappointed after fixing this at the bottom of the drawer. I faced 3 issues: 1. In first picture you can see there is a gap after you fix it. If there is gap then sagging will continue. This is not going to support the drawer base 2. Fixing is not easy. The product doesn't tighten properly and is not easy to fit 3. The screws provided are really bad. For a product like this, screws should be small so that it doesn't come out of other side. See second picture. There was a crack visible on the front of the drawer and it almost spoiled the drawer body. I am disappointed by my purchase. This is not a true doctor for the drawer. I won't be doing a justice if I don't share how i fixed the drawers eventually. I ordered a support bracket (part no 131294) from Ikea with screws - (part no 105344). It worked and it a solid support to the drawer base. See picture no. 3 and 4. The support bar is easy to install and sturdy. Alternatively, you can try supporting / mending wedges. They are definitely better than this product where there is no direct contact with drawer base.

I purchased dressers, and matching end tables for my room but they didn’t come with anything to hold it secure the bottom well. I built them myself per instructions, and even added wood glue for extra support. The dang things after about a year and a half started coming apart. I tried removing and reapplication of wood glue, extra screws and nothing worked…. Yes I own a crap ton of clothes…. But even the end table drawers that hold minimal items are coming apart. I have been so frustrated and trying to figure out what to try and I saw these straps…. I just got them today and they work perfectly awesome so far. Super easy to install (you need a drill and some scissors) and they are holding everything together super tight and didn’t impact the drawers going back into the dressers! They are so freaking awesome!!!! No I’m not being paid or anything to say this either. They are awesome. I ordered an extra box for emergencies and I’m really really glad to have them in case anything else breaks.

In theory it’s great. I absolutely see how this COULD be a great product. But I did not know they made such soft screws. Also the holes in the “back” bracket are so close to the edge that it’s basically impossible to screw in without ripping through the drawer. Just buy a new dresser and save yourself the frustration of stripping these screws

Bought this in 2020 to fix sagging drawer that eventually broke. Whipped the extra ones out now in 2025 to fix the remaining ones that broke. Fantastic.

Ho provato il DIY Doctor Kit Riparazione Cassetti e devo dire che funziona davvero bene. I pezzi sono di buona qualità e facili da montare, anche se non sei un esperto di fai-da-te. Ho riparato cassetti di cucina e della camera da letto che erano rotti o instabili, e ora scorrono perfettamente senza problemi. Le istruzioni sono chiare e intuitive, e in pochi minuti il lavoro è fatto. È un ottimo kit per risparmiare tempo e soldi invece di sostituire interi cassetti. Consiglio questo prodotto a chi vuole una soluzione rapida e duratura per cassetti danneggiati.

J'ai une vieille commode à 7 tiroirs dans lesquels je range mes affaires de cuisine. Forcément avec les années, les fonds et les cadres commençaient à faiblir. Pour éviter de changer de meuble dans l'immédiat, j'ai essayé ces kits pour renforcer les tiroirs et je ne le regrette absolument pas ! C'est simple et rapide, et aussitôt que l'installation était faite, je me suis rendue compte que mes tiroirs ne bougeaient plus du tout. Je n'avais pas remarqué que ça bougeait autant avant. Maintenant tout est bien fixé et stable, j'ai remis toutes mes affaires dans les tiroirs (même plus) et c'est impeccable. Je crois que ma cuisine pourra s'écrouler avant que ces fixations lâchent !

It works very well once you put it together. However there are no instructions, only a link to a YouTube video. The YouTube video is a bit fast for me so I had to watch it several times to figure out what to do

Band is slecht van kwaliteit en scheurt. Goedkope rommel. Heb zelf aanpassingen moeten doen. Wat een miskoop.

Fantastic! Durable to pots and pans in a big drawer ect months later with no signs of letting up and pretty easy to install compared with replacing the whole drawer for sure! Tried regluing and stapling and nailing bottoms of drawers ...this is the ONLY thing that's worked for us
