Looking for a product to help remove the outer set of weather stripping on my vehicle. This was perfect! The spray was focused and did it's job. The tacky gum was removed and the surface was not harmed. For areas where the residue dried up, the spray needed to sit a little longer to help penetrate, but it worked! Vehicle paint was not damaged.

This label remover works so well that I would recommend it to anyone who wants to remove a label off the painted surface of their car. If you follow the instructions on the can. The label will come off very easily. I recommend this product to anyone.

Tried everything to get double-sided tape off of a garment. This 3M product really works and leaves the garment undamaged. Forget the goo. It's expensive but worth it.

If you’re looking to get that glue off from your old vinyl wrap on your car… you’ll be jealous you didn’t get this. It leaves a clean appearance. In the video I had already done half my hood due to its fast functionality and you can see the difference how quickly the scraper got the baked on adhesive off. I used about half the 15oz spray bottle. No leaking but evaporates quickly. A solid durable product that is worth its value per oz. Wash vehicle after use.

If you have a 3M clear bra (paint protection film) on your vehicle, this will ABSOLUTELY remove it. I bought a used 2009 vehicle with the clear bra on the entire front, including hood and front fenders. I tried removing it in 2015 (about six years old). When removing the first piece from the fender, I was able to get it off with some muscle, but it left behind an entire layer of super sticky adhesive. WD-40 didn't work. Goo Gone didn't work Store bought adhesive remover didn't work (tried several kinds) Enter 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover. Wow! After application, it emulsified the adhesive and made it instantly able to be scraped off - like magic. It still takes patience if you have a lot of adhesive to remove, and you will definitely want to buy a scraper with multiple blades (plastic obviously). But, if you are removing a clear bra yourself, you absolutely MUST buy this. Do it now.

Seems only to remove PPF very slowly but I haven't found a faster, better product for removing my car's dried out old paint protection film. After scraping off the PPF there's still a layer of glue residue that needs another cleaning of Goo Gone to completely clean it down to the paint. Hovever, No damage to the paint from the 3M remover. Perhaps a 3M decal disk-wheel sander might be faster but maybe less safer on the paint. I'll have to try that next.

Very impressive! I had stickey black residue on my dashboard from an old gps mount that i couldn’t get off and this took it of in a heartbeat! I tried alot of solvents and other products but they failed.

Value for money, extremely effective, smell dissipates quickly, powerful glue or adhesive remover, decent quantity and optimal can size. Very good product. Removes all kinds of glues or adhesives from surfaces (I tried wood, metal and ceramic so far) very effectively.

Used it to remove a hard bumper sticker that wouldn’t peel off. Sprayed as instructed and scraped with an old card. Took some effort but the sticker came off clean with no damage to the paint. Very satisfied. It smells like nail polish remover.

Trying to remove 3M glue on my truck when stripes were removed. This worked excellent!!
