Arrived as promised, works as described. I used this item to replace an old TP-Link router, and while that product worked fine for the price ($20), spending a little more has made all the difference. The WavLink is powerful, fast, has great range and looks cool to boot. ONE WARNING - during setup, don't make the mistake of setting up the LAN Bridge (unless you specifically want that feature - it acts as an signal extender/booster). Not a tech guy, I completed this step and the unit then wouldn't work as a router. Followed the instructions but had a devil of a time getting it reset. IF YOU MAKE THIS MISTAKE - do a factory reset (as instructed) but make sure you wait at least 15 minutes before setting up again. For some reason, the reset needs time to take hold. I found that out after about 2 very frustrating hours. But if you are more tech savvy than me, the setup is simple and easy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Pro's strong signal. Looks great and unique. Has nice lights. Plug ins and cabling are nice. AAA+ Price is good. It's a good deal for cheap. Works as 5g for Oculus Quest wirelessly. Con's Directions where poor. I set up wifi names and set wifi passwords. It then asked me to change the router admin login and password. It didnt like what I chose but rebooted leaving me locked out without a working admin name or password. At this point it would have to be factory reset but everything works so for now I'm leaving it as is. Overall. Its a great peice for the price and I like it .If you are not tech savvy or patient you might want to skip. TL;DR Best feature = powerful 5g and looks. Worst feature = tricky setup might bite ya.

I installed everything correctly but could not get internet. I called and after 35 minutes a person from India who had trouble speaking English said it will not work with Spectrum as advertised. Then he hung up on me. I tried calling back but it kept telling me to leave a message and when I tried it would hang up on me. I am a retired electrician and know electronics well but I spent 4 days with this to no avail. I am returning it.

Seemed to work ok.. don't know much more about it. I get the wi-fi signal coming in ok on my desktop from a DSL modem in another room, so no complaints. I didn't use the tech support or the user interface stuff, just plugged a network cable into it & maybe had to input the wi-fi password (can't remember).

Here is my thoughts after having this router for more than two weeks. First of all, the initial setup was easy and straightforward and easy, simply follow the instructions once plug in the power and cable. The dual wifi signal band is something nice to have, all my smart devices like smart locks and plugs can connect to the 2.4 GHz band since they do not support anything beyond that. Other newer devices like iPhone or MacBook Pro can get linked to the faster 5 GHz bands. The touched connect function is a convenient feature and one thing I need to point out, for those whoever has a complicated structure house like multiple doors and turns between a device and this router, 5GHz is not the best choice since 2.4Ghz is so much better in circumventing the obstacles due to the nature of its wavelength. Try this first if you have a bad reception. Overall, good built quality, signal strength is great and I will share it with my other friends whoever doesn’t want to know too much about router and internet configurations.

If you have no idea how to setup a router (wifi ) and you need a simple no frills wifi router and just have it work, this is for you. If you are a power or advanced user this will frustrate the heck out of you. I am an advanced user and needed a hard wired access point. I usually skip the wizard and go straight to the advanced settings. To my surprise there aren’t any advanced settings. I was trying to give it an ip address but it would not let me. You have to use the wizard and follow the directions . This will not let you customize anything on it besides the wifi name and password. In other words this means you aren’t really able to mess things up. My speed typically gets 430-450Mbps download and about 20-23Mbps upload. I was able to get a decent speed of 381Mbps and 22Mbps. I am hard wired and connected about a distance of 100 feet away. I have this in the bedroom where it’s a wifi dead spot. The led lights make a fabulous bright night light. If you don’t like it, you can turn off the led lights in settings. I like how I was able to use the mobile browser (Safari) and didn’t download the app. For the price this is not a bad value router. It may not be a high end gaming router or customizable, but If you need a decent value router for a fair price this is not bad.

There are several features I like about this router. The main one is you don't have to give your guests your password. There is a guest option that allows them to connect easily. With that feature, you don't have to worry about your devices. I only gave it 4 stars because the directions were unclear about how to set up the password, and I had to seek help from an IT person. Other than that--great product. Highly recommend

Me encantó este producto, es más estoy pensando comprar otro para quitar el original De la compañía de internet. Simplemente compré uno para extender mi internet que se ponía muy pero muy lento y result que mi compañía de internet tiene 2,4 y 5 gb es decir banda doble que 5GB es solo si estoy cerca del router pero al moverme cambia a 2,4GB y se pone lento. Y el técnico me explicó que mejor comprara un router en vez de un extender porque al extender la red baja la calidad. Entonces decidí probar con este router y me parece la mejor opción además muy económico. Es práctico ligero y seguro para proteger mi red porque tiene una opción de visitas aparte que es touch….. así que recomiendo este equipo 100%
