Works as expected. The quality seems great. The fingerprint sensor works every time. The keypad lights up and works well also. The light inside on my unit doesn't stay on very long, maybe 5 seconds before it fades out, but it's long enough to see inside in the dark. It comes with keys and instructions on how to set everything up. If you take the cushion inside out you can drill it to the floor or shelf or something. Will def be buying another one when the time arises. I had a question and called their support # they were very knowledgeable and nice.

This is a great safe. It's sturdy and well made yet light enough to mount on a shelf for standing height access. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for a couple of issues I'll discuss later that if addressed could make this safe outstanding. The good: It's a perfect size for three hanging handguns and some magazines on the floor. It's designed for two additional guns to lay flat but that would seem a bit cramped if you ask me. All my hand guns are mid-sized or compact and it fits them perfect (4.1 inch to 3 inch barrels). I'm sure a 5 inch would fit well and may even be easier to reach in a critical situation. The bio-metric finger ID seems spot on and takes multiple fingerprints for myself and my wife. Critically it's not mentioned in the instructions that multiple fingerprints can be programed nor does it say how many can be programed. So far I've only programed three finger prints and it seems to work fine. Because of the way the frame is built and the door is designed I can't see anyone being able to tamper with the lock, latch or bio-metric button with a coat hanger or anything which was a concern I had from looking at other lock box designs. I like having the ability to use the battery or power adapter although I'll probably be using the battery most often. It's also good to have the use of a key, combination lock and bio-metrics options for opening and the ability to silence the chime is great. The red light inside seems almost movie like and perfect for accessing in the dark. If your feeling around at night and miss touch the scanner it will light up helping you find it. It may read as a bad scan but you have several try's before it locks you out. If a non programed finger touches the sensor, a red light on top blinks and the green scanner flashes a couple of times letting you know it's a no go. It will also beep if the sound is on. The hooks you slide your barrels onto are covered with some kind of coating and the inside is lined with a cushion type material to protect your weapons. The bottom cushion material must be peeled off to mount the safe with screws on a shelf or something. There is also a small metal shelf inside that can be removed by removing the hooks (which are very difficult to remove without using some strong fingers). The Bad (more like what can be improved): The shelf inside rattles around a lot and seems somewhat useless to me. Maybe someone would have a use for it but I just took it out since if the guns are hanging you can't get to the shelf anyway. The rails welded to the side that hold the shelf in mine was crooked making the shelf not even level. This just seem like a quality control issue. The welded metal frame in the back of the safe that hold the gun hooks is also a bit crooked but not bad enough to make hanging the guns difficult. Lastly, as mentioned before the instructions doesn't say anything about adding multiple fingerprints and says nothing about how to remove the shelf. I just studied the inside to see how the hooks were inserted and just tried programing more fingerprints and figured it out through trial and error. Conclusion, given all the positives this is a great gun safe for quick access to your firearms when you need it most. Despite the minor flaws and lack of instruction I would highly recommend this safe. Although I haven't had it long it seems like a quality product that I expect will last many years.

This safe is perfect for my application. I’ve had it for a few months now and absolutely no issues this far. Everything continues to work as expected. I was surprised to find that mine had a white light inside instead of the advertised red. I prefer the white light so great for me. Finger print and combo is easy to program and again no issues with either so far. When the door initially opens it does make sound, so if you require silent/stealth operation this may not be for you.

Of all the gun safes I ever bought this is one of my favorites because not only does the fingerprint reader work and it's easy to set up it's functional to hold more than two or three guns it could hold maybe four and into the fact that I find that my farm is safely secured and a good position to draw if I need it I'd recommend to any firearm owner

the non-biometric safe is an excellent product, looks well built. in my case though, they shipped me the non-biometric model by mistake.

I wanted to like the safe. The metal work felt well made and sturdy. Followed instruction and programed the safe. Worked great the first night both with combination and biometric. Biometric was really temperamental and not reliable. The next day, it can't recall combination or biometric. Went through numerous cycle of it locking me out for 5 minutes because it would not recognized my combination (I wrote it down) and my finger print. Even worse, I cannot reset it back to factory setting. I have brought new batteries, used different outlets, etc. To add insult to injury, when I tried to registered it for warranty, the site will not accept my entries and kept asking me to prove that I am not a robot. That was when I became completely fed up with this product and decide to return it to Amazon.
