Be patient! Lots of sunlight!
At first I was super nervous that we had got a bad batch of eggs. We followed step #1 which was purify the water and wait 24 hours before adding eggs. Next day, added eggs! I had no way to control the temperature of the water so I figured they would hatch “slower” paper said up to 5-6 days. So we put our little aquarium on a shelf and waited. We also took a straw and gently mixed up some bubbles for oxygen for 2 days after adding the eggs. A week goes by and… nothing but some little floating specks (but they only moved when we moved the aquarium, so we figured they were dud eggs). I decided after a week to move the aquarium to our front living room window and kept it there. They got a very nice day/night light schedule this way. We waited a few more days.. a week and a half at the point and still nothing. Google says it could take up to six weeks. Fast forward to yesterday and I’m thinking we definitely have duds as NOTHING is moving, but still have floating eggs. We keep them in the window. Well.. this morning my son goes to check them and to my shock, there are at least TWENTY hatchlings! Swimming around and having a great time! They literally miraculously hatched during the night or at some point when we weren’t paying attention! So… it took a good 2-2 1/2 weeks and LOTS of sunlight, but we have our little babies! So they do get 5 stars, and my tips would be, be PATIENT and put them in the sun for most of the day, and let them get a natural day/night cycle!! Video included for proof that we have live ones!

None hatched
We have had sea monkeys before and know how to do it, this egg nothing hatched at all. I decided to ask for replacement they sent one no problem and then the next egg nothing hatched. So I did a return and for some reason they took a very long time to issue me the 10 bucks back. So that was annoying idk what that was about. But I just with they worked my son was very disappointed both times. So definitely stay away from this one.

Comes with everything but a tank and water
I was a little apprehensive because some of the reviews stated they received duds, but I wanted to try them anyway. I have a tiny fish tank that's too small for any fish, these seemed like the perfect choice. I waited until the weather warmed up, but of course it got cold again, so they took about a week and a half to hatch. Definitely give them more time if you don't see anything happening! I stirred the water every day, since I read that helps to oxygenate the water. Now I've got tons of little monkeys swimming around! So exciting! My parents never would have let me have sea monkeys as a kid, so I had to buy them for myself XD

Only one egg
The listing and description of this product lead me to believe there would be more than one egg. That being said it's been 24 hours and the first few sea monkeys have in fact hatched. It's very important to follow all steps correctly and use the exact amount of water or else they won't hatch. I'd give it 3 stars but tbh I kinda like pink

It works if you follow the directions and are patient.
I forgot to read the reviews before I bought this, then saw the awful ratings. But my lil shrimps hatched just fine (it did take about 5 days because it was chilly inside). I now have 9 healthy adults. The patience is the worst part. And not over feeding. And don't forget to stir the water for aeration 2x a day! They're more work than a house plant; you have to give them care. They're a joyful little addition to my work desk.

Zero brine shrimp from two attempts.
I had these as a kid and loved them so I bought the one with the little aquarium for my kids, and those worked great, but a couple of weeks in my daughter dumped the whole packet of food in, resulting in green water and dead Sea monkeys. That was our fault, so I rinsed out the little aquarium and bought one of these eggs. We followed the instructions exactly as before, but none hatched. So I did a return and we started over with a new egg. None hatched. Not sure what the deal with the packets in the eggs was, but two in a row had a yield of zero brine shrimp.

old eggs, maybe?
oddly, though there wasnt any obvious moisture in the packets, i only had 2 artemia actually hatch. previous sea monkey kits have worked fine for me so i think these eggs mightve been languishing in the warehouse for too long. thankfully, there is a mail-in warranty included in case your eggs dont hatch, and i will probably invoke said warranty. a bit miffed about paying for shipping, though.

I had sea monkeys as a kid!
I am a grown adult but I saw some at the toy store recently and thought I might get some. I had some when I was 20 but one of my friends came over all trashed and knocked them off a table and I was pretty pissed. I followed all the instructions and am currently raising four good sized sea monkeys. They seem pretty happy and I think they are kinda neat. What an easy life just swimming around in circles all day.
