Great bit of kit
Bought this as my Jaguar xfs 3.0 diesel battery had run down and dash was like a Christmas tree( it's a Jag thing with a low battery) was surprised at the size,its so compact and i was a bit dubious of its capability. Fear not! Put it on charge for a few hours, display said full so put back on car, one press of the ignition button and fired right up. For the price you can't go wrong. Some say lead is short but it's ideal on a work bench or kitchen work top. As for performing it is spot on, even on the large battery my car needs and there's a button for older batteries and other variables. instructions are not very helpful but it's not rocket science to work out. Did the job,£20 and small enough so store in the boot. Well worth it.

Superb piece of kit for under 20 quid
This is what I call superb VFM. Simple to use, accurate readings and output (Measured against my multimeter). Drops to 1.5 amps for charging bike batteries..most bike chargers are 1 amp output maximum. Fan is very quiet, display easy to read and Microprocessor controlled, still can't believe this piece of very smart tech is under a score. 8 amp max output which is plenty for a car/recreational battery. Will charge gel, glass mat, sealed and wet... Definite buy from me, cracking product !

Very clever
Got this for my partner who was always having to wait hours to get the juice into his motorbike battery when he had forgot to turn his heated grips off! He loves it, he says it's very clever and brilliant for the money. He has used it multiple times on different batteries and it is simple enough to change modes to accommodate this.

Don't be put off by it's size
This battery charger is great , don't be put off by it's compact size or weight, it really does work well , charged the battery on my mercedes sprinter campervan no bother, and the car ,good price too ,
