Uncharted: The Lost Legacy PlayStation Hits (PS4)

Got this for my hubby to pass the the time, as he has the other ones already played lol he says it was worth it.

If you have withdrawal symptoms from Uncharted 4, this is a fun-size hit.

i had a wonderful experience. game was fantastic. its just too short. i probably finished it in under 8 hours. and that was with secret item hunting

It’s a great game just not as long as Nathan Drake series

Overall I enjoyed the game despite how it might sound below. I thought this was a DLC for UC4 but they apparently turned it into a stand-alone game. I guess there's more content than a standard DLC, but it's definitely less than a full game. Character banter was decent and the small asides like feeding fruit to the elephant were nice touches. The puzzles were ok, though they did get to feel repetitive pretty quickly (rotate this circle, now rotate the next circle, now back to the first circle ...) Combat ... ok, but I personally didn't enjoy it. I usually like to either stealth around or use a specific loadout and pick up resupplies as I go. In this game every situation turned into "have to kill everyone" while running around changing weapons often.The main problem I had with the game was the controls. Most of the game is pretty straight-forward, aim and shoot, jump and climb ... but the first highly frustrating thing was a boss fight with dodging. OMG the dodging in this game is terrible. Maybe it's just because I'm used to several other games where there's a lot of melee dodging (God of War, The Last of Us pt 2, etc,) and this game does not have the same behavior, at all. Then there's the big battle at the end of the game. There were several annoying areas where Chloe would do anything but what I wanted her to do. Then in one area, to avoid spoilers, let's say she has to leap from one platform to another. That should be really easy, but no... Jump backwards? Climb a crate? Jump the other direction then climb a crate? Anything but do the one thing she needed to do. I became so frustrated with the whole thing that I managed to finish the game and then rage deleted it from my system. Normally I would spend more time and try to get trophies, maybe replay at a harder difficulty, etc, but I don't want to experience this again. Nope, once was enough.
