It’s a mora. Need I say more.
Razor sharp, balanced, easy to maintain, and repair if a certain clumsy carver dropped the little darling onto concrete with a fresh edge... it happens, don’t you judge me. It’s become my go to finishing knife and I use it for kolrosing with no issue. I love the mora crafting line. I’ll never say anything bad about them, so long as they keep going like they have. Now if only they’d throw their hat in the ring on slojd axes... The sky’s would open, good mead falls from the heavens, velvet ropes would part. AWESOME KNIFE.

Great Knife and a Great Value!
I am attempting to get into woodcarving and I purchased this knife to be my main tool. The knife was sharp when I opened the box but after a few swipes over some high grit sandpaper and leather strop, this knife is super sharp. The large bevel makes sharpening easy and it holds its edge quite well. I am really glad I got this knife. The handle feels good in my hand and the knife fits securely into the sheath. I will be looking into another Mora that has a shorter blade. I have found some situations I wished the blade was shorter but it has not effected my carving. Overall, this is a great knife and I am now a huge Morakniv fan!

Excellent knife.
Like most carvers/whittlers I know I have several knives, gouges, etc. I saw a recommendation for this one a decided to give it a try. On first use it felt bulky and the blade was heavier than any of my other knives so I thought I might not use it very often. After a couple of projects it is now one of the most used. Sharp, holds an edge well and comfortable. Great for everything but tiny projects that require a thin more flexible knife.

Great edge retention ... very sharp, leaving clean smooth cuts.
I enjoy carving with this knife. Good handle and perfect blade for my carving jobs. I particularly like the minimal touching up required to keep the perfect edge. I carve in hard wood, so sharpening is a major chore. My older knives require regular sharpening, so I will now purchase more knives from the same maker to eventually replace those ones too as the edges last forever in comparison to my current knives. My only negative comment would be regarding forging defects affecting aesthetics on the back side of the blade. No big deal, but dropped a star for that.

Great tool for the job of wood carving!
I read a bunch of the amazon reviews and watched a you tube review or two on the Mora 122 knife before I bought it. Ignore all that neg. Junk. These are great. Was sharp enough to use on basswood right out of the box. It sharpens up quick on the strop. Perfectly good wood carving knife. You bet I would buy it again. If this one ever get to the point it needs to be replaced and I am still alive I will have no problem buying another one. Thanks Mora good job great knife keep it up.

Love it
This is now the 3rd Morakniv I own. I only just started getting into carving/whittling. The first knife I got was the Mora 120 and I loved it so much so that, when I decided I wanted to expand my collection and buy another one, I went straight for Mora. I decided to go with 122 as I wanted to see what the flat blade was like compared to the curve. It came super sharp and still had a light coating of oil on it. I was using to carve a semi green piece of wood and was like hot butter. It cut through the wood so smooth and the flat blade allowed me a little more precision at the tip. The handles are pretty much the exact same, comfortable and easy to hold. I will warn you if, like me, you have been used to carving with a blade like the 120, be aware that the blade on the 122 is exactly the same except for the sharp edge is on the long flat side instead of the curved side. Just a heads up, it almost caught me out a couple times, I was glad I had duct tape around my thumb, otherwise that could have been stitches. These knives are wonderful but they do like to bite back sometimes! The postage was super fast, it came a couple days early with the free postage option.

Great quality, fit
I have both the Morakniv 120 and the 122. I'm new to the hobby, and have probably less than 100 hours under my belt with the new knives. I used to use different types of pocket knives, and what a difference. My hands don't get as sore, and I can go 4-5 hours at a time without any effort. Great quality, fit, feel and it really adds to fun. I also feel safer with a fixed and very sharp blade instead of pocket folders

great knife
I love knives, wooden handle, high carbon steel, what's not to like. I use this for basic wood carving and it is a joy to use. The plastic sheath is pretty good too, but is designed for a larger knife. For honing I use a leather strop and compound and this steal takes a wicked sharp edge! The wooden handle is comfortable and offers a full grip for both strong slicing and fine cutting.

Vraiment top, Attention aux doigts! Peut-être proposer des tailles pour les grosses mains.

Faquinha muito bem feita, muito bonita e de uma qualidade incrível, sem falar da simplicidade, funcionalidade e robustez da mesma...

Fantastic first class quality item.. grab it it you can!!!!!!...its very hard to find. I bought this one asap after 2yrs of unavailablity... this 2nd one that i bought to back up my original 6yr old one guess what? ..my best mate stole it, pretty quickly too.. it is easily my go to carving and whittling knife because of the point edge, and it keeps an edge very well with occasional stropping... I'd rate it a 10/10 knife...my suggestion is to immediately purchase if available.
