Impressed with this device I have an old (2012) mini cooper s coupe which has built in sat nav but I can't update the maps ,so I prefer to use waze on my phone. I have a stick on the window phone holder but as I have such little visability in the coupe I don't like anything on the windscreen. Air vent mounts are rubbish and the dash is to bumpy for a dash mounted phone holder ,so then I came across this. It's a bit fiddly to install but I found if you pull the steering wheel fully out and fully down it makes it easier ,I wanted my phone on the left so the charging cable could come straight up to the socket, so I had to swap the bar with the mini logo around. Then you use the tool supplied to undo the speedo and then remove the 2 screws on the back ,insert two rubber bushes in the holes and then screw the bracket with the longer screws provided and that's it ! Took 5 minutes and is rock solid,holds my samsung galaxy s24 ultra nice ! Would recommend

I have tried so many phone holders in various cars I have had, all the glossy videos on Instagram usually draw me in. recently bought a mini and thought I would try one that is very different to the normal suction cup holders. Hands down the best phone holder I have had, obviously would only work in a Mini I think. It takes 5 minutes to install and all the replacement screws you need are provided. It looks scary how you remove the speedo to install but its actually really simple. 3 screws, add the holder, 3 new screws provided that are slightly longer and your done. It looks great, never moves, impossible to fall of and works great in a multiple positions. Only phone holder I would ever use in a Mini.

Nice phone mount - easily holds my iPhone 13 Pro. Style fits well in a Mini. I wanted my phone to the left of the wheel, so simply swapped the mounting arm round. Installation was easy but fiddly. To make it easier, do the rubber bushings one at a time and get the screw in place to hold them. If they drop out, they just end up in the bottom of the steering rack housing. The instructions tell you to undo all 3 screws at the back of the speedo - this isn’t required, you only need/have 2 mounting points. If you’re fitting to the left just remove the middle and the left screw and vice versa for the opposite. You’ll be left with a spare screw and rubber bushing. Recommended.

Great that it fits where it does in the car perfect position as due to shape of minis it’s very hard to get phone holders that go in a good position. However confusing instructions so hard to fit and phone constantly falls to the side (tilts sideways) which is probably due to being unable to fit it properly.

Very handy! Purchased this a while back and it’s still as good as new after constant use - would buy again, it was also very easy to attach.

Phone shakes like crazy, useless product.

Fits nice but flops about and shakes , cannot tighten screw on the arm as it come lose - great idea , the cradle is secure and hold iPhone 16 but the joining of the 2 arms needs a re design

non semplicissimo da montare se le viti presenti sono molto strette, utile usare un cricchettino che è meglio del cacciavite in dotazione. ben fatto, arriva con guarnizioni in gomma e viti più lunghe da usare al posto di quelle di fabbrica. avendo due soli punti di aggancio, se fondo dissestato allora balla parecchio, il telefono va messo in orizzontale altrimenti con le buche di Roma rischia di cadere. ho risolto mettendo un feltrino di quelli da sedie sulla parte sotto e quindi poggiandolo sulla bocchetta dell’aria, in questo modo ha 3 punti di appoggio ed è più stabile. esteticamente molto valido e non invasivo
