Perfect for drysuit protection!
Picked these up after a recommendation from a friend. Always looking for more ways to protect and improve the durability of my gear. Drysuit booties can get pretty warn down from sand abrasion in your boot - for winter kayaking I now layer my wool socks, then drysuit, then these seal-skinz, then my astral sneakers! It adds a layer of warmth, but more importantly, protects the drysuit from the inevitable sand buildup in your shoe, slowly wearing down the material. Prefer to my nrs neoprene socks, hands down.

it works i think so
used this in a defensive operation in the military and got wet the last day. i cant really tell rather it worked or not bc my feet was a bit sweaty but not too much. I will add the socks are rather big and dont grip like normal socks do but i am slimmer than most people. These socks was recommended by a friend of mine in the SOF community and they was great for him swimming in the ocean and immediately conducting a raid on a village. so i will highly recommend this product. Just was weird for me because im slimmer than most folks.

Held up for 2 trips, each was 7 days long.
Brought these out to BWCA, and they held up for 2 trips, each was a week long. Also brought another pair from a different manufacturer. Same result: they held up for 2 trips which were about 7 days long. Then some small holes must’ve developed and now they are not water proof. When they worked, they were great.

The exact solution I was looking for
My new go to for rainy day activities. What I've learned when wearing these in combination with non-waterproof athletic footwear is that my shoes have been getting waterlogged more from regular socks acting like a sponge and then saturating the footbed, than they are from direct contact with water or wet conditions. A decent pair of trail running shoes are expensive while also having too much traction for street surfaces. Even if that's not a concern for you, the socks have a longer lifespan than the pricey shoes. They also add a bit of cushion that's still just within a comfortable threshold for overall shoe volume. A few people have commented, " but do your feet still breath?". The answer is yes even though it's irrelevant. Because if I'm choosing between bathing my feet in puddles and a little bit of sweat there's really no debate. Besides. One of my other tips is to buy a very lightweight set of toe socks to wear as a base-layer. One blemish against them is that the stitch work on the cuff at the top of the calf isn't designed to be yanked and wrenched like everyday socks. It's a wide hem and as result there's a good amount of billow in the material which when pulled on aggressively creates uneven movement in the construction and a point of failure for the stitches. But if you treat them more like an expensive pair of socks and less like outdoor gear you should be fine even if that calf hem does fail. Because even if it splits it doesn't create any real problems for the overall construction or structure of the waterproof lining that's sandwiched between the fabric shell.

Kept Feet Warm
Great product. Keep my feet toasty warm during the cold winter days while having to walk checking cattle.

Quick delivery .fit well . Did not have a crunchy texture that a reveiwer mentioned .water has not penetrated my boots yet ,so can’t comment on waterproofing yet .

I was introduced to these socks by a cycling friend. When cycling gravel, your feet can get damp and these stop it. I bought this pair for my wive to put in leather boots for dog walking. Now she is a massive fan too. They are amazing.
