CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX DDR4 RAM 16GB (2x8GB) 3000MHz CL15-17-17-35 1.35V Intel AMD Desktop Computer Memory - Black (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15)

I’ve had the CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX DDR4 3000 MHz (2×8 GB) in my editing system since 2019, now running a total of 32 GB, and it’s still doing its job reliably in 2025. From day one it’s handled 4K footage and heavy editing workloads without crashes or instability. The modules install easily, and BIOS has always detected them properly. Even after years of use, I’ve never had a failure or issue. While it’s not the absolute fastest RAM available today, the performance has been more than adequate for my workflow — rendering, playback, multitasking — everything runs smoothly. It keeps pace well, and the value for what it delivers over time has been great. If I were summarizing: dependable, rock-solid, and long-lasting. For an editing rig that doesn’t demand bleeding-edge specs, this Corsair LPX kit has been a dependable workhorse.

Its ram, its fast, and it works out of the box. I picked this pair up on sale and for the price i'm very satisfied. the xmp profile has become a standard at this point so you don't have to deal with timings in the bios when installing these. i didn't try to push them to see if they would go any faster as i didn't feel the need, some might but i can't speak to it. The timings are reasonable for the speed and your not going to find anything guaranteed at faster timings/MHz without spending quite a bit more. One thing i have to mention is that corsair does really understand little things that make a product better. for instance, the actual stick of ram is the same color as the heatspreaders which is a very nice detail. i've seen other brands that just have the basic green underneath a fake heatspreader that basically sits over the ram and isn't even in contact with it. It's easy to see that these are solid and well manufactured. Corsair also has good QC, as i've never purchased something from them that was DOA (*though it does happen). This is a good set of ram and if your looking for something that looks nice and preforms well then go ahead and grab these up.

I’ve used these Vengeance RAM kits from Corsair since DDR3 and have never had any complaints. They are well built with a discrete but stylish heatsink and they just work for a decent price for good RAM. I will say that even though this kit is on my MOBO’s QVL and does work, it doesn’t reach the stock 3000MHz speed unless manually overclocked. It only reaches 2133MHz which is disappointing but it’s entirely due to the new architecture of Ryzen 7 so I can’t hold that against the RAM kit really. Corsair makes great products and although there is a small premium, I don’t believe it too be asking too much. If you need fast and reliable ram then this is easy to recommend.

Installed easy enough and upgraded my current with the same as these to double the RAM. Corsair is a wonderful brand totally recommend.

Not really sure what else to say. Bought two sets to replace two sets of 4x4's in my tower. They were the same as the last two I bought to augment the original two sets of 4x4's, so now I've got four sets of 2x8's. I have so many windows open with so many tabs right now, and I can do this while playing Destiny 2 and rendering video in Premier without my computer grinding to a halt. If your mobo is of the type that takes this particular RAM (do consult your motherboard's manual to find out what MHz and which brands and such your board can take before making a RAM decision) then I totally recommend these sets. Sidenote: I gave it 5 stars for ease of install since my motherboard has them just click into place so I don't need to pop the clips in manually or anything like that. It also has them spaced nicely flanking my processor, which has a low profile liquid cooling unit attached so there's plenty of room for my hands to insert them. Depending on where your RAM slots are on your board, and how large the other contents of your tower are, YMMV as far as ease of installation.

I used this for my desktop build with an MSI Z370 SLI PLUS, i7 8700k and a GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition. The installation process was straightforward and getting Windows 10 set up was a cake. Or so I thought. After I realized that the RAM was clocked at 2133MHz, I went to the BIOS and enabled the XMP profile to clock it at 3000 MHz. It worked, for a little bit, until I began to get blue screens whenever I played Battlefield 4. I decided to underclock the RAM to 2400MHz and have CAS Latency at 12. I didn’t blue screen after that, but how did this one slip through the cracks? I don’t know. Hope Corsair’s QA run through their RAM sticks because I purchased this to run at 3000MHz and I had to underclock it to be stable. It runs fine, but I’m not going to take any chances and start an RMA process with Amazon or Corsair. I did run MemTest86+ and it wouldn’t finish the test because it had so many errors that it had to abort. This isn’t gonna discourage me from buying Corsair products, but now I have to be more thorough to make sure that their products can hold up and do to their exact specifications. Attached is my MemTest86+ I ran last night as of this review on 3/2/19. Do I recommend Corsair? For AIO coolers, and PSU’s, yes I do. RAM? It’s a hit or miss. Depends on your luck with the silicon lottery. Update: Last Tuesday I received my replacement memory modules, ran the XMP profile on it and haven’t had any BSODs at all so far. Ran Prime 95 for a day and no issues were found. I’ll bump up my product rating from a 2 to a 4.

Después de 1 mes de la compra de estas RAM, puedo decir que su relación costo beneficio es muy buena ya que tienen 3,000 Mhz de frecuencia lo que las hacen muy veloces y 16 GB de capacidad a un precio increíble de $1771. ¿Quién te ofrece eso a ese precio? R= Nadie. NOTA: Chequen los precios porque fluctúan de un momento a otro inclusive el mismo día aquí en Amazon. Además chequen que estas memorias sean compatibles con su tarjeta madre en las QVL (Qualified Vendors List) que se proporciona en la página del modelo de la t.madre en la sección de soporte> CPU Y memoria, para verificar si no hay problemas a la hora de ser compatibles o no ya que con AMD Ryzen las memorias son muy específicas Asegúrense de tener su sistema actualizado a la última versión de Windows y los drivers de sus Ryzen APU o CPU normales, además de configurarlas en el BIOS con el perfil X.M.P. a su frecuencia real de 3,000 Mhz ya que si las colocan sin hacer ajustes les correrás a 2,133Mhz, por ende perderán rendimiento. Si tienen CPU Ryzen con gráficos integrados esta es tu opción ya que las RAM a más frecuencias el APU de AMD se beneficia y saca más rendimiento en cuadros por segundo para juegos. Además si gustan hacerles un memtest86 y probar cada módulo de forma independiente unas 2 horas por módulo para ver que no haya defecto de fábrica, esto por precaución, las mías no tienen fallo alguno. En conclusión: Gran equilibrio entre el precio y lo que se ofrece y sin duda es de admirarse, gracias a Corsair por el gran trabajo que hace. Saludos a todos.

Ich bin mit diesen RAM Riegeln sehr zufrieden. Nachdem ich sie seit mehreren Jahren in Benutzung habe, hatte ich keine Probleme mit dem RAM. Er verfügt über einen Heatsink, was zu einer besseren Wärmeabfuhr führt und ist sehr wertig. Nachdem beide meiner vorher bestellten RAM Riegel ohne Heatsink defekt ankamen, habe ich mich für den entschieden und auch im Langzeitreview bin ich immernoch sehr glücklich mit der Qualität und Leistung. Er erreicht durch das XMP Profil die gekaufte Leistung (im Bios das XMP Profil aktivieren und dann wird auch die korrekte Speichertaktfrequenz angezeigt) und funktioniert einfach :) Fazit: Sehr guter Preis-/Leistungsram von Corsair der auch nach Jahren der Nutzung immernoch sehr gut funktioniert.

Its ram. Simple. Added 16 to machine that already had 16 of same. No issues. All you have to do is choose xmp 2 in bios and .... done. Runs without problem. So far I have had no issues with Corsair which is why I keep buying it.
