Mr. Tank 30 LB Pound Steel Propane Tank Cylinder with Type 1 Overflow Protection Device Valve & Dust Cap

This item came exactly as described. Pre purged and fit perfectly. Never mind the large yellow safety sticker, the tank had another sticker attached the the valve that said it was vacuum purged. With that being said, it filled to 7.3 gallons. Installed 2 of these on my RV and good to go. Just be aware they are considerably heavier than the 20 pounders they replaced. Highly recommended.

This is my third purchase of 30# propane tanks. Price is good, tanks come purged. The one change I would make is to use2 or 3 sizes larger on the bubble.wrap. The small stuff mine was wrapped in was all popped and the wadded up paper doesnt do any good. Nothing will if its only at.one end. Packing aside, tanks do their job. Bought as fuel supply tanks for my generator, so I will have some power when pge shuts us down from now on.

So, with covid and climate change and self-driving trucks taking away jobs, we all need to ready ourselves for the impending doom that's coming. One of the legs of the three legged stool for survival is cooking. You gotta cook the beans, especially when you are out of power and natural gas. Best thing is a nice Coleman stove (even better is if you have two, like I do, for our cute neighbors to come on over and use during Armageddon) with a crap ton of propane. I ordered two of these puppies, to go along with my three 20 pounders, and I'm good to go...as long as the apocalypse ends after three months. What's nice about 30 pounders is that they hold more than 20 pounders but they won't break your back when you move them while being shot at by red necks trying to take your bacon. You need to be able to easily move propane tanks when these confederate types come-a-hollerin' for your bacon. Luckily I'm a vegetarian, so they'll just want my rice and rice and beans and jarred peaches. I'd definitely order more of these puppies...just in case the apocalypse lasts longer than 3 months.

They worked perfectly, we got a 1987 camper that was stored under roof sence new, very good shape, but the old new propane could not be filled , so we got new everything. Works great..

These tanks come with a vacuum on them. That might not sound like a big deal but it saves about ten bucks and a half hour the first time you fill it. They are already a good price but when you add the additional cost to purge a new tank that's not vacuum purged, they become awesome. I am very happy with this tank.
