I've tried other brands but nothing compares to my Doms! I have quit wasting money trying to find anything else. They go on easy and stay in tune. I had to change strings before my first post COVID gig. I ordered this set and they arrived as promised. I was lazy though and only got down to restringing the morning of my gig. I did have to check tuning after each song but over all they held great for brand new strings. I had not changed strings in 2 years, so the difference in tone was so noticeable. Now a week later they are just perfect and reliable. The tone and ease of playing makes practicing a pleasure. THese are not the most expensive strings you can find but are in the upper range, but as far as value, tone and long life there is nothing better!

Love these strings. I'm so happy I have them on my violin! I've been playing violin for three decades and won't use any other string. These arrived quickly and were exactly what I needed professionally.

This is standard student strings, simple and got a bright sound. My E string broke the day I try to change it. I ended up having to separately buy an E string on my own.

After a long time of trail and error I finally found the perfect set of strings. I will forever buy these violin strings. The sound and quality are fantastic.

My sister gave my son her old West German student violin from the 1970s. She changed the strings only once in the mid-70's, but those SuperSensetive steel strings just had to go. I could have replaced them with another set of SuperSensetives Steels but I was goinmg to put some good strings on a free instrument which saved me money anyway. I looked at reviews and reccommendations from several websites which lead me to make the decision to purchase this set ot THomastik Dominant Strings. My son has classmates with rented instruments and of course they mostly would be fitted with the long-lasting steel strings. But, I know that my son will not be using this 3/4 size violin for more than two years so the Dominants would last long enough and he would produce a better tone than his mates. His strings teacher was impressed with the tone his violin makes, and some of it should be credited to the Thomastik Dominant strings. Now if it could only improve on my son's accuracy in fingering...

The fact that I own 7 acoustic violins, 1 electric and a cello and 4 of them are Stradivarius, 2 from 1716 and also a knilling Bucharest which is not a Stradivarius but it is in its own right a beautiful violin, I chose that one to put the strings on because I also got other nice strings to try out different on those 4 in particular and OMG there is no comparison!!! I was hit by a leprechaun when I found the 2 Stradivarius at a re store! Seriously, I want Dominant Strings for all!

This product is super good. It came in three days even though it said it would take seven days. These strings sound beautiful and have a nice rich tone. Definitely worth it!

It lasted less than a month. The teacher asked where I got those strings and suggested never buy from Amazon again.
