Great Projector
After a lot a research and finding a projector in our budget this one fit the bill. With the kids home because of the pandemic it certainly is the center of our entertainment. We have it 10 feet away and have very large 10 feet wide picture. It has made connections only missing a USB C. With 2 HDMI connections we can leave the XBOX connected and add on devices. Living room is pretty dark to begin with but even the curtains open there isn't any problem. The speaker is okay not enough for our taste though. We are using aux cable to connect an old Sony CD player speakers for better audio. It is enough to do the trick. We did go a little bit above our budget but it was so much worth.

Great picture quality for outdoor rear projection
Performed even better than expected. Was looking for a projector for outdoor movie viewing that also allowed for rear projection and great color. Love being able to plug a Roku stick directly into the projector and power it if necessary. In this case I wanted to be able to connect the projector to outdoor speakers through an HDMI cable and this worked perfectly. Strong colors and high light output worked well for rear projection using appropriate screen outdoors. The short throw angles were perfect to allow me to project from inside the pool house to the projector screen hanging through the doors. Huge picture from less than 15 feet.

Bright picture
Pros: Very bright Crisp image Colors are vibrant Short throw (10.5ft = 120") Cons: Blows out unbearable hot air (enough to heat a room) Not suitable for a bedroom If I could have figured out a way to keep the heat out, I would have kept it. It's an awesome projector from an awesome company. ViewSonic projectors is what I have been using. (701-4k, px700hd, m2) I really like them all but this one just wasn't suitable for bedroom due to heat output. I still recommend ViewSonic projectors. Just get the one that's suitable for your space.

Great projector and easy to use.
For large outdoor group, additional speakers are necessary. Picture quality was really good on a large screen.

Terrible product
Pros: Image is very crisp. Cons: This garbage didn't even make it two months without putting a bright white dot at the center of the screen. A couple months after several black dots started popping up. I've used a two LED projectors before this that were a third of the price and they lasted longer than this. I'm just going to go back to TVs because this has just been a waste of money. Just don't even bother with this one.

Great picture quality with few cons
After a lot of comparisons in the price point, I finally concluded on Viewsonic PX703HD for watching movies at home and in our backyard. Product looks great and remote is very versatile. I enjoyed the picture coming out of it. See below list of pros and cons. Pros: - Picture quality and picture modes. - Ability to add fire stick/ roku. - Quite fan sound - Can go up to 300 inch diagnol without much loss in quality, which is awesome. - Bright picture. Great for indoors and outdoors. Cons: - No wifi or bluetooth functionality inbuilt - Inbuilt speakers are ok but defintely external speaker is needed to enjoy movies. - No horizontal correction - Viewsonic splash screen appears quite often even changing movies inside a the same app like netflix. This seems to be issue with only when using Roku stick. - No updates yet, but I think with no wifi a firmware update will not be easy to administer.

Absolute quality projector. Easy to install (mine is ceiling mounted using a £9.99 bracket) and the set up was a doddle. Picture quality is excellent (1080p resolution) and it has sound if you need it. Run ours through and AV amp and ceiling mounted KEF speakers anf the overall experience is superb. At just over 2m from screen we get the full 92" on an Optoma pull down screen and it's crystal clear. At under £549 and compating to Optoma and BenQ pricing I feel that this was a steal.

Super scharfes Bild. Geräusche vom Lüfter stören nicht. Insgesamt gesehen besser als mein bisheriger BenQ TH670.

This projector is very good for a simple home theatre setup. At 100", the image remains bright. Though you can definitely enjoy a better image quality with a 4K projector, the 1080p resolution doesn't really bother me that much. Colors are punchy and details are clear. It gives you the same experience of a smaller theatre. There is some rainbow effect, probably the only major downside of this projector. Port wise, there are two HDMI ports, but no ARC support, there is a VGA port for computer which I do not plan to use. You might want to use the optical out for your sound system. Because I live with other people and I always use headphones, this doesn't bother me. But if you want to use a surround system of some sort, HDMI is no use as there is no ARC, so you will have to use the optical output, because the only other option is to use the 3.5mm jack which I believe only supports a 2-channel system. Overall, solid product for this price range.
