De'Longhi Scolpito Kettle,1.5 liters, 360° swivel base, Stainless steel, KBZS3001.BG, Clay Beige

I bought this to replace a similar model from the same manufacturer. I love it (it lasted a good 6+ years and I never looked after it). Quick to boil, easy to use, very stylish. I don't see how anyone can complain, unless on price. Not that cheap, but it does look very classy.

Previous one bought from John Lewis - much more expensive. Boils fast - quiet - love sculpture design - classy look.

Bought this kettle as a replacement, after our old one began to form a leak near the water gauge. This DeLonghi Scolpito kettle looks gorgeous in our kitchen, the colour matches with the decor and it has a very nice finish. Functionality wise it's also good. Easy and safe to fill up, comes with a removable limescale filter (handy if you live in an area where the water is hard), boils at a moderate pace, and it pours nicely as well. It definitely isn't the quietest kettle in the world to run; the noise isn't a bother for us personally, but I know it may be for some people.All in all, it looks nice and feels nice, and we're very happy with it!

I didn’t need to read reviews good or bad about this kettle. I had my last Delonghi Scolpito kettle for 9 years, it’s still working fine but intermittently doesn’t switch off so have purchased this new one ready for when it finally bites the dust. I have to add that we live in a soft water area and so have never had to clean the inside of the kettle, that has probably added to it’s longevity, also it’s stainless steel and not plastic like the majority of kettles, finally 9 years ago this kettle was more than twice the price I paid today, so it’s win win all the way.

This was a housewarming gift and it was really well received. It's modern, easy to use and looks fabulous. Now the couple are having problems with this kettle after such a short time. Please advise.

Like the slightly unusual colour and shape of this kettle. Pours well, easy to read scale and not too heavy.

Great to look at but after 2 years the kettle stopped working. There was one occasion it didn't switch off when boiled and completely ruined the laminate on the kitchen cupboard door. Then the switch went loose and wouldn't switch on to boil. Just to top it all - the matching toaster also gave up more-or-less at the same time!Not good value for money De'Longhi! We're happy to pay for quality but expect them to last longer than 2 years!Lets see how the cheaper brands hold out.
