ESV Topaz Reference Edition, Black Goatskin Leather, ES676:XRL

I am greatly pleased with the overall size of the Bible (perfect for carrying and reading), the size of the font (10 - large enough to read without my bifocals and print is not too large to crowd the page), the quality of the leather (the goatskin is very supple and the binding allows the Bible to lay flat)! I've had this one for only a few days and have found only ONE page where the red-lettering is slightly lighter than the rest...yet the "fading" is very slight and hardly noticeable. One thing about the red-lettering I like is that it's a darker red, making it easier to read! This is the first Cambridge Bible I've purchased in 43 years, the last one was a KJV purchased in 1978 (Water Buffalo Calfskin) and it is still usable...and it shows! This one should last for the rest of my life! Very, very pleased!

My Bible came today in the mail and I have to say it’s a work of art. Cambridge has out done themselfs, Large Dark font that just jumps off the page, The verse numbers and chapter numbers in red look great , this bible is light weight and feels great in the hand. The Goat skin cover is so soft and yet not to sloppy. Also the words of Christ in red look great, it’s a very crisp and clean red and dosent look pink. This is by far one of my favorite high end Bibles of all time. And I have owned a lot. Thanks Cambridge!

Great bible this is by far my favorite!

This is such a beautiful bible. The font is the perfect size and in a clear and quite readable font. I can read it without my bifocals. I own several Cambridge bibles and it is great to have one of the larger ones. The Topaz line focuses on making the bible easy to read. It makes me want to buy other translations when they're published.

Beautiful bible, goat skin, but not soft like the heirloom bibles but its still good. Slight crease on inner preface pages like stretch mark on cling wrap. Wife doesn't mind. Quick delivery

Stunning Bible. I have a few other premium Bibles but hadn't yet found the one that I will use most, that meets all my needs. I have a Schuyler Quentel and Personal Size Quentel as well as a Cambridge Clarion, all ESV. Therefore, I decided to get one of these Topaz Bibles in black goatskin to see what it's like. When I opened the box I knew I'd love it. The smell of the leather alone is wonderful. The verse by verse format is excellent and much easier to read in my opinion. The red letter wouldn't be something I agree with theologically, but with such a great Bible I can overlook that. The paper is great, the typeset is fantastic. Very easy to read. The font seems to be bold. It's thin yet fairly large, and is a good size for me to take to Church. This is my favourite Bible now and I highly recommend it!

Nevermind the excellent cover, it's a 2k Denmark modern, readable, large serif type. The red letter text is dark and crisp and even, and the verse numbers are actually contract black or red to stand out from the text! If the verse is red letter, the verse number is black! Otherwise red! This makes finding your verse extremely easy and effortless. Indopaque french paper is the nicest bible paper on the market today, bar none. The printing and binding are done by Royal Yongeblood. Ive heard some say it doesn't have a concordance, that isn't true. the dedication page also doesn't assume it's a gift for someone else.
