It works just like a hitch because it is a hitch.
I bought some hitch mounted light so I could see backing into my driveway at night but they didn't fit the Dodge factory hit so I mounted them to this instead and has made my life so much better at night when coming home.

Bought to extend my hitch pastt the spare tire on my jeep so the landing gear doesn't hit. This works great it does double the hitch slop from just your receiver but as long as you are aware of the cause it works great albeit abit clunky.

Good solid piece. Finished well and it was sent fast. I do recommend a hitch tightener to help with the rattle but other than that it’s great.
