Amazon Essentials Women's Surplice Dress (Available in Plus Size)

I got this dress in the pinkish color and the blue color & I love both!! I am 5’7 & 248 & I ordered the XXL but it’s so stretchy and the XL would have fit also but I love the way this XXL fits. I did just order another pinkish color in XL because I’m curious how that one will fit so I’ll add pictures of that and the blue one later. The fabric is thin and won’t make you hot. It might show certain flaws like cellulite the tighter the fabric is but I wear shorts underneath to smooth out my butt so that doesn’t happen. It’s so beautiful and soft and stretchy. I added pictures to show just how stretchy it is. You can see it’s also looser on my arms also which I like it being a little big because I hate tight clothes on myself or things that are form fitting. I need to loose weight. My meds are causing rapid weight gain which I hate. I’m going in a cruise soon which is why I got a few of these and I’m happy I did. I highly recommend these. Pockets would make these dresses even better but I still love them so much. They are lightweight and perfect!! They are versatile and can be dressed up or down. Nothing about this dress is uncomfortable. It’s really comfortable in every way. It washed and dried well also. I LOVE all the colors. For under $9 for this dress (at the time I bought it,) is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! Right now I even see some colors for under $7 which is a steal!!! Originally they usually sell on this site for $19.99 so I am one happy camper I got them at such a great price! The dresses are not clingy and they fall right above my knees which is perfect. Depending on the color they might be a tad see through but considering the length of the dress it’s easy to wear shorts underneath. Plus for us plus size girlies that will prevent our thighs from rubbing which is a must. ❤️ 😁 I love these so much!!!

Bought this for my niece's band and chorus concerts. It fit perfectly. Looked super cute! She said it was very soft and comfortable, light weight. It wasn't too clingy at all but snug enough in the right way. Washes like a dream. Great quality dress. I'm actually purchasing myself one in my size.

This dress is super cute and comfy! I can tell it is perfect for breast-feeding. However… I am 5’ 10” and took a gamble on this. It’s slightly too short for my taste. When I pull the elastic part down where it belongs (under the boobs) there is ALOT of cleavage. Just not what I prefer!

I absolutely love this dress! It’s true to size and the quality is great. You can wear it casually during the day or easily dress it up for a night out, which I really appreciate. The length is perfect and very flattering. I’m also very happy with the price for the quality you get. I’ll definitely be ordering this in more colors!

I love this little dress. It doesn't wrinkle, it is super comfortable, it can be dressed up or down and is great for travel. I launder in cold water and hang to dry and it has held up very well with no pilling. I love it so much that when I spilled bleach on it, I immediately ordered a replacement. I got a size XS both times. The size difference between the two dresses is very noticeable. At least two inches in length difference, and about an inch on each side in width. This worked out for me because I am petite and was having to wear a camisole under the larger version to stay decently covered and the new one fits much smaller. Luckily, even though it is a couple inches shorter it is not too short. The first hit my knees. So it really looks like a completely different dress on. Both cuts are flattering. I am only sharing this review to say that you might want to order a few in your size and see which fit the best. Clearly, for less than $20, what is getting sacrificed is attention to size detail. Since it is often hard to find inexpensive petite sizes, I'm considering this a feature, not a bug. Likewise, if you often wish for a little more room or length without going up a size, it might be worth trying a multiple item order.

A great basic for my closet that is comfortable and pretty. Material is very stretchy and good quality for the price. A great dress for pregnancy and also for hiding a postpartum belly.

This dress is so cute. I just love the colors and the length. It falls just above my knee, which is perfect. It's instantly become one of my favorite things. I washed it in the laundry and dryer and it didn't shrink at all. The fabric is so soft on my skin. And it's extremely comfortable to wear. The material is opaque. And the design is flowy. I highly recommend this product.

I am 5'8" tall and weigh about 155 lbs with a 38C chest. This dress was perfect on me. The length was great and the top fit very well. I received several compliments the first time I wore it. I'm usually not a dress girl, but wanted something nice and cool to wear this summer besides shorts. The price was amazing on this dress, so I thought I would give it a try, and wow was I pleased. The fabric is nice and soft and flows beautifully. I have washed it and hung it to dry and it looks like new. I loved it so much I ordered it in another color too. I wore it with some strappy sandals but I think you could dress it up with some heels as well. I highly recommend trying this dress.

Abitino comodo. Io porto una M e l'ho trovato fresco e mi sono sentita subito a mio agio. L'ho acquistato per una serata informale tra amici e mi ha fatto fare un figurone pur essendo semplice semplice. Adatto un po' per tutte le occasioni, dalla passeggiata al mare allo shopping in città. Il tessuto è molto fresco ma al tempo stesso resistente. Lo consiglio a quelle donne che come me che amano abiti informali e sportivi

El corte del vestido es muy lindo y la calidad de la tela es muy buena. Es suave, de buena caída y lo suficientemente gruesa para no transparentarse. Lo compré en dos tonos en talla chica y creo que si pido otro, lo haré en una talla menor, pues por el tipo de escote y elástico en la cintura, da para más y me quedó un poco flojo. El largo me resulta cómodo, yo mido 1.74 y me quedó unos 4 dedos arriba de la rodilla. Por el diseño, lo mismo sirve para una ocasión informal, que para algo más formal usando los accesorios adecuados.

Bought this in black and the second one in green. So flattering and comfy. Love these dresses, bought the second one for an extra dress for a Mexico beach holiday.
