I'm not a doctor, this is my experience and that of one friend who I turned on to this stuff. I'm not celiac but I do react badly to most wheat products. In winter I like to make hearty soups like minestrone, but I've found that (1) there are no gluten-free orzos and (2) when I use regular gluten-free pastas they turn to mush. This product is very low in gluten and holds together just like "real" orzo. It causes me no gut problems at all, thank goodness. It's not cheap but it's the only thing I've found that works for me (and my friend).

Hi, I am allergic to dairy/eggs products so I buy this because it's spelt flour, I cannot eat something with both eggs and milk inside of it. I haven't tried it yet but I hope it's not the case
