I wanted to buy something better to listen to music at the gym and these are great. They stay put while I jog and when I am lifting. Far better than ear buds and there are physical buttons to control volume and pause. Some sound can be heard, but that would be the same with all in/over ear listening devices and if you play at a safe volume you won't really hear whats going on around you. Update* These are my go to headphones now. I won't use anything else because I can workout without having to worry about them falling off or constantly adjust them. They work seamlessly with Youtube and Amazon music. Things to note. You don't need to download any software for these to work. Yes they do work with Android and PC without any additional software. Battery life is great. I use them for about 5 times a week for about an 1 1/2 hours and charge it every 3 to 4 weeks. They don't cancel out audio around you, but you can hear your music clearly at a comfortable volume.

Hands down the best quality headphones i’ve owned. they take a short period to charge but stay charged for what seems like forever. i love the color and clarity of my music and how easy it is to connect to my phone. definitely worth the money and would highly recommend

I think my headline said it all. This used to be priced for much more, It was top of the line at the Apple Store, selling for 500. It has come down in price everywhere. You'll be happy. Every time you use it, you have to pair it again. That can take a few steps. And it makes it difficult to quickly answer a phone. I have to take the call on my iPhone and then pair it mid call. Also when I take a walk, I have to stop walking and if pair it, unless I had already paired it. Apple earpods pair as soon as you put them on. And this has the same chip as the earpods, so it should be easier. I think it's because the earpods can sense when you put them in your ear. Also, fairly short battery life. You will have to recharge it every day. I don't get 40 hours as advertized. Small issues. If you want an over the ear headset, you will be very happy.

I bought this for my 11 year old boy for our plan ride they are comfortable and work well sound ok but was hoping to be more impressed by the sound but they are good for him as he didn’t complain so we kept them. If you’re looking for great sound I recommend Bose! Fit is great, battery life is long.

While searching for a set of wireless headphones to use with my Apple products, I decided to take a chance on the Beats Solo 3 headset, after seeing that it featured the W1 chip from Apple. Some people might be surprised to learn that Beats is part of the Apple ecosystem and their products are designed to work well with other Apple devices. This is my first Beats product, after using all of the AirPods earbuds for years. Setup of the headphones was quick and flawless, as you would expect from an Apple product. All I had to do was turn on the headset and hold it next to my iphone. A connect animation with a picture of my headset appeared on the screen. I spent over an hour listening to music at various sound levels, different styles and used only the headphones to access Siri, control music playback and block out the moderately noisy room I was in. I left my iphone in another room because I wanted to test the strength of the Bluetooth signal. after only one hour, I was very impressed. These headphones sat on my ears without hurting my head or making me uncomfortable. Although these headphones supposedly lack ANC (active noise canceling) I did not notice any of the ambient sounds around me when I wore the headphones. I had previously been using the AirPods Pro with ANC turned on all the time. These Beats Solo 3 headphones seemed to be just as effective at blocking out the ambient noises as my AirPods Pro were. It will take a little bit of time getting used to having a physical power button to turn on and off, compared to using the AirPods and slipping them into their recharge case when I am not using them. The carrying case for the Beats headphones is a tight fit for the headphones. I was a little worried about breaking the headphones when I took them out. But I was very careful and I was able to put the headphones away without breaking them. I am very satisfied with this headset. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a reliable and high quality wireless headset for their Apple device.

The headphones are sleek and compact with a fantastic carry case which easily attached to a belt loop or backpack. The ear pieces fold in for storage and taking up less space when not in use. Adjustments to fit the head are easy and provide for a great comfort fit for everyone. The sound quality is very defined and while it does provide for sound cancellation, it is not entirely devoid of hearing outside noise to respond to friends or alarms. One of the cool features is it's ability to skip or reverse to a previous song with a click of a button. While it did take me a minute to figure out the volume controls, once I did, it's a convenient feature rather than adjusting through my mobile app. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase of this product.
