DNA Replenishing Serum for Face, Nourishing Facial Serum, 1 oz

I used to work in a medspa that sold this line and I have loved it ever since. Hands down, the best hydrating serum I have ever used. It soaks in immediately, and it only takes a small amount. Love love love!!

Love this serum!!! Isn’t heavy or oily . Leaves skin feeling rejenvated and fresh . Used for about a week and I already can see difference in my skins appearance. Less dull and fine lines have lessened.

I've been using this serum both morning and night, after toning but before moisturizing cream. a little does go a long way with this serum; I only use 1 little pump and it covers my entire face. it absorbs nicely and isn't sticky. feels nice on my skin. all of that is great, however, I'm almost done with the bottle, and I really haven't seen any difference in my fine lines and wrinkles, which is does advertise. so although it's great for hydrating and moisturizing my skin, it hasn't helped any with the signs of aging on my skin. I'd definitely spend the $56 for a second bottle if it did help with my wrinkles; but for only hydrating and moisturizing, it's a bit pricey.

Pretty pleased with this brand of products. I use this with a jade roller nightly, and it compliments my skincare routine well.

Feels nice on skin, pleasant smell

Wilma Schumann DNA Replenishing serum is a thick, orange colored serum with DNA from salmon eggs. I’ve read salmon egg extract may have a positive anti aging effect by improving hydration, wrinkles, pigmentation and redness. It’s hard to know if the DNA is effective as there’s not a lot of literature, concentration is unknown and so on. Hydration and other benefits could be from Sodium Hyaluronate and other ingredients. That aside, this is serum isn’t greasy but feels rich and does give my dry, sensitive skin a much needed moisture boost. It makes my skin soft and smooth, and minimizes my fine lines. My skin absorbs the serum well, and my skin feels calm and comfortable. I apply it at night after cleansing and follow with a night cream. I really like that my skin still feels soft and hydrated in the morning. I only use this serum at night due to the Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A). Its safety remains controversial (compare reading by EWG to Paula’s Choice), and may be especially harmful combined with sun exposure. I usually avoid Retinyl Palmitate anyway as it tends to irritate my skin, but I haven’t had an issue with this serum. Quite possibly, the concentration is low given how I tolerate it well. This serum has some good ingredients but also has alcohol, which I avoid as it’s harsh and drying. Fortunately, it’s low on the ingredient list and it doesn’t sting or irritate my skin, so there probably isn’t much. This serum has two preservatives and a number of artificial colorants. The ingredients are a mixed bag for me. However, I do like how the serum makes my skin look and feel, so I’m rating this serum 4 stars.
