Synology SODIMM Non-ECC RAM DDR4-2666 4GB (D4NESO-2666-4G)

Wanted top performance from my new Synology DS224+. This RAM fit perfectly, was easily installed, and it is performing flawlessly. Highly recommend.

Bought this for a DS923+ and it's worked great as I'd expect from a first party product. Worth the cost not to have to worry about compatibility.

Great for the Synology NAS however a little expensive.

I'd ordered no-name memory first and it did not work. I returned it. Then I ordered this official memory upgrade and it did not work either! I contacted Synology support and they sent a replacement NAS DS220+. No problems installing this memory in that replacement. Love the boost in resources but wish that there was not such a significant price difference between this and the various no-name alternatives.

I was kind of surprised that I could find a match to this unit. I was filling out the memory of a NAS drive and I needed a mate to an older memory card that I was recycling and I was pleased to find one. This way I only had to buy one instead of two new cards and I dug a spare one out of my scrap parts box.

I wanted to buy genuine memory but it’s typically way overpriced. I got 4 gb of official memory for 20 dollars - which is still a bit expensive for what it is but that’s dirt cheap for official memory. I got it because there were times with the 2gb stock memory that we’d get some buffering, between me and my kids. There’s no issue since installing the extra 4 gb. If you can get it cheap it’s great.

Used on my Synology DS220+. Install was a breeze, start up and NAS recognized with no issues. A little pricey but worth it.

Easy to install, and the Synology device runs without problems.

Expensive but you know it's just gonna work and not void your warranty. Worth the peace of mind.

DS224＋用として購入しました。 NASはほぼ放置していれば良いだけで、かつバックグラウンドで夜中とかに働いてくれるし、動画編集や重い作業をしなければ、わざわざメモリを増設しなくても普通に使う分には申し分のない速度が出ています。よって、ノーマルのままでも十分なのですが、DS224+はメモリの増設ができる製品であること、長く使う物なので安心感と将来的に重い作業が発生してもストレスにならないために、初期投資と考えてDS224+本体導入後すぐに購入しました。 結果として、現在は単なるバックアップと日々のデーター保存先としてしか使っていませんが、写真や動画の出し入れは、当たり前でしょうが体感的に早くなりました。 PCのメモリ増設で性能が格段にアップする経験はありますが、NASでもこんなに違うのかと感銘を受けた瞬間でした。 実際のところ、NASで大きなデーターのやり取りをされる方、大人数で使用されている方にはメモリ増設は必須で、ほぼほぼバックアップにしか使わない程度の私にはオーバースペックというのは承知の上ですが、リソースモニター上でメモリが余裕のある動きをしているのを見ると安心できます。 安くはありませんが、少しでも欲しいなと悩んでいる方は、ぜひ購入してメモリ増設の恩恵と実感を早めに受けられると良いと思います。増設したことを後悔することはないでしょう。
