I just got this Bible today, but I love it already! The font is easy to read and easy on the eyes. I prefer the verse by verse that is the same as in my previous Bible, which is a Schofield KJV study Bible. I would highly recommend this item.

THE KJV IS ALWAYS A GREAT GIFT.

This KJVB reference Bible is what I have wanted for awhile. It is large print for easy viewing for my eyesight, and it has the verse by verse clearly separated for easily and quickly finding the verses. I currently had a KJVB that did not have the feature and was forever searching through it to get to the next verse. Very frustrating. So I am really happy about this.I also like at the beginning of each book it gives a summary of what the book is about. Gives a little history. So that is also helpful. There is also center references clear to view and even more if needed at the bottom of page. There is plenty of space in margins to make some notes and also in the center of page also. This is not a journal so no there is not a place to make all your notes in depth but enough. I would suggest to those who like to make extensive notes to do so in a notebook. However, I am happy to with the references provided and the space to make a comment or two.I have purchased many different translations in the past year. Most of those I have donated to others. I had KJV and simply found it frustrating with the ancient language. I then had the NASB and found that it was good but still the wording was quite different in some places from a lot of Church services used, so not a good one for listening to services for me to follow along.Everyone has their own needs. This Bible fills all those needs for me. All of God's Word is holy and good for teaching the truth of Jesus. So never fear with any translation that it changes that. Use whatever Bible you feel more comfortable with so you can feel confident in teaching others. Remember that is the purpose of all these Bibles.

I bought this Bible for the extensive reference guide feature. It has a very readable font and the leather-soft cover is very elegant. It was listed by seller as 'used-very good'. In reality it is actually brand new! The shipping was quick, received before expected date. I have several Bibles of different types and am very much looking forward to using this with the references to expand my studies. Thank you to The Chapel Store for this affordable addition to my library.

I love this Bible better than ALL the other Bibles I have purchased in my 74 years. EASY on the EYES. The RED numbered verses are a HUGH PLUS. Other Bible are nice and beautiful vibrant colors etc., but with mature eyes and the BLACK numbered verses joined next to the black verses , makes it so difficult to find. NOT with this Bible. The PAGES, are thick enough that you can turn pages without moistureing your fingers. The HEADLINE of each new book are in ALL RED LETTERS, The CONCORDANCE is a zillion amount of information, MAPS etc. The THUMB accessed guide letters are BIG. Soooooo MUCH to mention. THE BEST BIBLE I have EVER had.🥰😉👍

I bought this as I was having problems reading my old Thompson bible. This is very easy to read. Nice consistent print. I really like the feel of the paper as well. Easy turning pages. For a non-premium bible this is very nice. There are some good reviews on youtube for this. I would recommend.

This Bible is absolutely stunning. The cover is the most beautiful I've ever seen—and yes, it actually says "Holy Bible" on the front! You don’t see that as often anymore, and I’ll never understand why. It’s a small detail, but one that means a lot to me.The interior design is just as impressive. The red ink reminds me that our sins are covered by the blood of Jesus—a fitting and meaningful touch. The borders are elegant, and everything about the design invites reverence and care.One of my favorite features is the short introductions to each book. They’re concise, easy to read, and genuinely exciting. When I read them out loud, I feel like I’m narrating the start of an epic story—like a film opening crawl. So cool!The center-column references are laid out clearly and are easy on the eyes. While I do wish there was a border separating the references from the main text (as seen in some other layouts), this is just a minor preference. The layout remains my favorite style—clean, functional, and visually appealing. It’s actually the very reason I bought this Bible, and everything else has just been icing on the cake.Another standout feature is the verse-by-verse layout. It makes finding specific verses a breeze and improves my reading comprehension. I truly love this format and give it two thumbs up.Also, major props to Thomas Nelson for keeping the NKJV consistent and not updating it every few years. There's a comfort in that stability.CONS:However, the fact that the NKJV hasn’t been updated in 43 years does create some issues. I love the stability, but a minor revision is overdue. Some words—like “superfluous” (2 Corinthians 9:1)—just aren’t part of everyday vocabulary anymore. Most readers today wouldn’t know what that means without looking it up. It’s a perfect example of where a thoughtful update could really help modern readers without compromising the integrity of the translation.Additionally, the footnotes, while still accurate, could benefit from updates reflecting more recent manuscript scholarship. A refreshed edition could really enhance study and clarity.There are also a few minor textual issues that could be cleaned up—such as changing the uppercase “He” to lowercase “he” in certain places (e.g., 2 Thessalonians 2:7). Not a dealbreaker by any means, but something that could be refined in an updated edition.Lastly, I wish the font size was just slightly larger—maybe 0.5 pt more. It’s still comfortable to read, especially when sitting up in bed, but a tad more size would be ideal.Final Thoughts:This is hands-down the most beautiful Bible I’ve ever purchased. The layout is perfect for serious study and personal devotion. While the NKJV could use a light refresh, that doesn't take away from how thoughtfully designed and meaningful this edition is. If you're looking for a gorgeous Bible with a classic layout and deep readability, this one is an excellent choice.
