This collection of hair implements is huge. The collection has several hair helpers to make pony tails, braids, buns, lots of pieces to work with and has instructions for each piece. So much fun. Better for long hair, pony tail length.

I really like this book. I ended up buying this one and one other one because I couldn't decide between them. The set-up and directions of this one are better. The photos are much better. The best part is how she provides a pictoral index at the beginning so you can just visually see which hair style you want by the photo and then go right to it. Don't underestimate how helpful that is--I love it.

I got this for my granddaughter for her birthday and she loves it. Instructions are easy to follow and the pictures were great. I got the spiral bound so that it would lay flat when she uses it.

This book has a lot of photos with great ideas and techniques to do braiding. I took one star off because some of the photos do not show what you are supposed to be doing that clearly and the instructions without the visual info are not enough to finish the braid. It has a range of hairstyles from easy to elaborate, so it's a great book to have for day to day hairstyles or for glam looks.

So many cute hairstyles with perfect directions!! I highly recommend if you want to try something new with your hair!

My 9 year old granddaughter loved this braiding book. She is amazing at doing other people’s hair and this gave her step by step instructions and lots of new ideas.

This book has some nice hairstyle ideas and some not so great. I’m not sure if I could do the styles I like on my own, which is what I was hoping for, but maybe I can talk my husband into trying. ….or not. 😆

I have other books on the braiding subject. I probably did not need them all, but each one seems to have something special. Either a new way or idea of using the braid. Some the pictures are better for a new braid that I have not done before. Last each author has a different way of wording the instructions. So I am pleased with this book, it also has a greater number of types, ways to use, and instructions that some of my other books. Good buy.

Trying out some new styles with my daughter

This is a lovely book with clear instructions and great photographs. It supplements Abby Smith's YouTube videos well, whilst being a handy little gallery of hairstyles to choose from. I learned the French and Dutch braids with ease, and it is great to be able to actually do things with my hair! I especially recommend this if you have very long hair that is silky in texture, as the more intricate styles seem to hold well in difficult-to-style hair.

Questo libro offre diversi spunti per creare intrecci e acconcianture, partendo da lavori semplici a più complessi; grazie alle belle illustrazioni fortografiche è semplice ricopiare i passaggi, anche senza seguire il testo in inglese (che comunque da delle ottime indicazioni). Consigliato.

Ein weiteres gutes Buch zum Haare flechten. Es war mein erstes Buch und ich hole mir gerne Ideen aus diesem Buch, wenn ich andere Flechtfrisuren realisiere. Allerdings ist dies Buch nur für Menschen geeignet, die gut Englisch können. Man muß die Anleitungstexte wirklich lesen und verstehen können, da die Bilder alleine nicht immer alles zeigen können. Mir gefällt es sehr gut - aber ich kann eben auch gut Englisch. In diesem Sinne: Have fun!
