So far so good. It’s easy to apply, and I’m glad it came in black. It works great and is easy to clean.

I've had many champagne stoppers over the years and they've always been fine, but never make enough of a seal with the bottle to prevent the champagne from going flat after 12-24 hours. You can imagine my shock to open one of these stoppers after the first use and have it pop like a cork because of the pressure behind it. It works so well, it kept one bottle of champagne bubbly and tasting like it was newly opened for 3 days. The silicone stopper is shaped like a cup and sits inside the mouth of the bottle, this helps seal the bottle better than the other models (see attached photos). It is easy to wash after use. The trick to getting a good seal is making sure to press down on the center button as you close the wings to cup the bottle. To make sure that your stopper doesn't go flying when you open it (like it did to me once!), make sure to push down on the center button as you lift the wings and slowly release the pressure.

Keeps the bubbles in the bottle! Great champagne stopper. Great hostess gift., too...always keep a couple on hand for that. Previously shipped in individual boxes which was so nice when gifting. Sorry that's been discontinued but will still purchase. Took off 1 star for that reason. Also keep one in my "to go bag".

These did work for the holidays! Since the price is so good, I really didn't think these would work, but they do definitely on champagne bottles.

Excellent Product Beautiful Black Finish with smooth edges and secure fitment. These Champagne stoppers feel especially good in the hand and are easy to c;lose and open. I am very pleased with this product. UPDATE: I read several lower-rated reviews where people complained bout this stopper being hard to get on and off. No flame intended but that is user error. The technique is to place the stopper on the bottle and click one side onto the neck of the bottle then push down with one hand the top of the stopper and click the remaining side on to lock the device. To remove, simply push down on the stopper in a sideways direction and remove one side's clamp. It's easy to do after one develops this method and certainly ensures a solid seal.
