Her favorite is Llama Llama Red Pajama. She asked me to read it to her so often that I decided to buy her more Llama Llama books. This book is the third one I have purchased and it's the third one she has loved. Each of the Llama Llama books are told in rhyming fashion and with very colorful and expressive pictures. We have laughed numerous times at the expressions on the llamas' faces. The books are about a little llama and his mama and they each teach a nice lesson. This book in particular is about a little llama who has to learn to share. He is fine sharing his toys with Nelly Gnu until she tries to play with his precious stuffed llama toy. Suddenly he decides sharing isn't so fun after all. This book teaches a nice lesson about sharing and friendship. Each time the llama misbehaves in these books, the mother corrects him and a lesson is learned. They are always realistic scenarios too. In the Red Pajama book, the llama does not want to go to sleep without his mama, which is a scenario that we have experienced with our daughter. In Llama Llama Mad at Mama, the little llama hates going shopping with his mama and throws a tantrum in the store. Our daughter doesn't throw tantrums while we shop, but I know this is a common scenario for other parents. In this book, the little llama doesn't want to share, and this is another scenario we experience with our daughter. She is an only child so we don't have as many opportunities to teach her about sharing as we would if she had siblings. This books is great for a little more help in that area. She is really curious about the story and the pictures and she asks questions. This gives us a good opportunity to talk to her about what's going on and the right thing to do. The story is very engaging and entertaining for both her and me. She always pays attention when I'm reading this, which I can't say for other books. Also, the illustrations are great and she always studies them quite well before asking questions and pointing out interesting bits. I recommend these books for all parents of preschoolers and young school-age children. This is a wonderful book with a good lesson and it's a fun read. I actually don't mind reading the Llama Llama books over and over again. Many other books make me want to cry when she asks me to read them for the hundredth time. I bought the hardback version of this book and it's nice and big with a dust jacket. The print in this book is a good size too, so even people without perfect vision can probably read it quite well. I hope all the Llamas learn to share!
Wonderful book that teaches kids the value of sharing and the consequences of what happens when you argue with another/refuse to share. The art style is aesthetically pleasing for the age group.

Love Llama Llama ❤️
My daughter is obsessed with Llama Llama. She loves to watch it on Netflix, but I’d rather us read books instead of screen time. We read this book over and over and it’s one of our favorites. The book itself came in a brand new condition as expected. The colors are vibrant and the illustrations are adorable. Most importantly it sends a wonderful message about sharing, in a witty and easy to read way. I will need to buy more Llama Llama books for sure 😊

A new book should be in perfect condition
I was excited to receive this book today , since it is going to be a gift to my sweet granddaughter. She loves reading, and the Llama Llama stories are one of her favorites. The only disappointment I had was that the soft cover of the book was broken 😞 Otherwise it would be perfect.

My 2 year old absolutely loves any llama llama book but this one is definitely a hit! Plus, we love anything educational.

We LOVE Llama LLama at our house. These books are a hit with both our children, aged 2 and almost 4. This one was particularly fascinating to our girls, who often struggle with sharing themselves. I really like how Mama Llama deals with the problem--she is calm and compassionate, helping Llama Llama through the disaster of having his favourite toy get ripped in two by promptly sewing it up, but is also firm in her expectations, putting the favourite toy aside until Llama Llama is ready to share it with his new friend. I also like how, without being preachy, the book shows that Llama Llama has more fun when he is willing to share. As always, the rhymes are delightful to read and the illustrations are amazing.
