I have ordered many glass pens. Some we're okay others were terrible. This pen happens to be excellent it writes so smooth the ink stays on the pen for a long time you get a lot of writing out of one dip, also there's no skipping. I'd recommend this pen to anyone. The inks that were provided are very bright and wonderfully colored. I did the pen in water and then just use a paper towel and the ink comes right off of it very easily cleaned. It is a little on the thick side between your fingers but I love the weight of it in my hands. Exceptional value for the price.

In all fairness I’m very new to this style of writing. The entire set is gorgeous and as I navigate learning how to use it I am enjoying the ink, and the weight of the instrument. It’s been fun and enjoyable to use. I do find the ink dries quickly, but again, I am still learning. The value seems very fair, as there are several bottle of ink and the instrument is truly beautiful. The case is very protective as well! I would but again and or give as a gift!

I purchased these as gifts for myself as well as friends and family. This comes in a box with the glass dip pen as well as an assortment of 12 inks. Upon looking at the kit, the pen arrived in great condition. I have never used a dip pen before and in testing it out, it took a moment for me to understand how to use the pen. I used youtube video instructions I found on my own for a few tips and tricks. The pen works great and doesn't require a lot of pressure as long as you have plenty of ink in the crevices on the tip, tip should glide smoothly and re-dip into ink as necessary. Keep a container of water handy for cleaning the tip when done or switching colors and dry thoroughly before dipping into new ink.

The pen is beautiful and writes smoothly. Everything was well packaged and arrived intact. I would like a taller stopper on the bottles I could grab from the top instead of the sides. Even with a paper towel, I get ink on my hands opening the bottles. It should work with all ink types. The inks will bleed if they get wet but look beautiful over dry watercolor paint. The bleeding can also be a neat effect. You can use them with a paintbrush or different pens, and also thin them to make ink washes. The gold dust settles quickly, so shake well before opening. The sparkle is more obvious with thicker lines, but still visible with thin ones. Most of the ink colors are beautiful and more vibrant than the color swatches in the product description. I am disappointed with a few of them though. The red needs to be shaken really well or it comes out orange, and even after shaking, the red and orange are very similar. The dark purple is more blue than purple, so you basically have three blues. The gold is dark brown. As a thin line, it's almost indistinguishable from the black, and the bottle labels are almost the same color as well. Overall, I'm very pleased with this and having fun experimenting.

Tip snapped off before I got it out of the packaging. Still works pretty good i think, idk never used a glass pen before this. Inks are really pretty though.

Came in a nice box with many dippable inks and the glass pen. Works as described. Inks are vibrant and fun.
