My 5 year old daughter was performing all sorts of soap experiments in our bathroom and leaving huge messes behind. So, I thought she'd be interested in making her own soap with a real set. As soon as this one arrived, she was all over it. We've had the set for a week or so and here are my observations:Positives:1. Easy instructions2. Pretty colors and good smelling scents3. Nice variety of molds4. White and clear soap included5. Soap is easy to break apart4. Easy and fun!Negatives:1. Not enough soap given the price point2. The large molds use up a big portion of the soap supply3. NOT INCLUDED: Glass measuring cup which is necessary to melt the soap.(I don't expect them to include this but I wish it was kind of stated in huge letters somewhere. Make sure you get one when gifting or showing to child. Not including one is akin to giving a toy without the batteries)A few days into using this, we had a malfunction with the green dye and it popped open all over the soap wasting the color and the soap. We contacted the company and they took care of it.We ran out of soap within a couple of days...I ended up buying more soap from another manufacturer.Overall, given the customer service and the fun of this kit, it deserves 5 stars but the soap supply is definitlely too low. I would expect double the amount at this price point.

My 7 year old was making her own soap out of lotion and perfume, so I bought this kit for her birthday. She Loves it! She has had it for only a few days but has made many and given most away as gifts. They smell great and look really cute. My daughter can do it all herself with supervision. Great gift for kids.

My daughter LOVED this!! She spent HOURS making soap. The instructions are easy to follow. The actually smell good and works great! I’m glad I bought the refill kit to go along with it. She loves the gift boxes that came with. She’s getting soap ready to hand out to all her friends. 💕💕 Would definitely recommend.

My son and I made the soaps together for the first time. Our first one was a poop emoji suspended in the clear bar. We definitely followed the instructions, but the soap solidifies really fast so ours looked clumpy. Perfect for poop, but not good show for other things. I started using a warmer I had for chocolate to keep the soap warm while we added scents and colors. Literally as soon as you take the soap off the warmer or out of the microwave, it starts hardening before it's in the mold. Once we started using the warmer, we had a good time. Also, substitute the wooden sticks for mixing with silicone spatulas and that makes things a little easier, too.

Granddaughter LOVED this. So much better than a Barbi. She is asking for more projects.

This was so much fun making soap with my granddaughter. Adult supervision strongly recommended as it could get messy.

Okay, so at first I thought, kinda pricey but my kid needs an activity to do. Bought the kit, my 6 year old loved it. Been making tons of poop and unicorn colored soaps lol. I emailed customer service because my kit had not included the gift boxes, no big deal but I had wanted to let them know, they emailed me back and sent me a whole new kit and gift boxes were in it. Definitely above and beyond customer service. And fun for kids of all ages (with parental help). Thank you guys.

I order this soap making kit for my 7 year old daughter. I really enjoy making it with her. Kit includes all what you need except glass comtainer for melting your soap. It melts really fast, mix with colors and aromas really easy but you have to do it really fast because it changes from liquid to solid fast as well. Soap molds are made from silicone so it is easy to get your soap out. My daughter really enjoyed taking bath and wash her body with those soaps. Five stars!
