Beautiful Highlights
1N light natural blonde works! Blends grey hair beautifully with blonde highlights. In the past I used permanent color with peroxide and it made my scalp bright pink and irritated. This Clairol semi-permanent color is gentle on scalp and hair. I used half a bottle, rinsed with cool water and dried hair with cool hair dryer setting. Although it does not completely cover grey hair it leaves hair soft, shiny and gives beautiful highlights.

I rarely write reviews and have not been incentivized to write this one in any way. I received the B01N Light Natural Blond today and used it for the first time. I am 52 with dark blond, fine hair I’ve been highlighting/coloring for decades - from the $400+ salon foils to the drug store box, everything in-between and then some. Chemical processing has taken its toll for sure. I lighten in the sun naturally and can get away with a lot but the gray has been increasing and I had let it grow out quite a bit as I have been suffering from the damage of the harsh chemicals more and more and literally was at an impasse of just letting myself go natural gray for the preservation of hair health. My hair is several inches below my chin and close to bra strap in the back - but it wouldn’t have been for much longer. Where has this been all my life!?! It’s sublime. I will never go back. This is what you’ve been waiting for. I SO WISH I had taken before pics. THIS IS IT. It’s like a color-depositing thing. I’m not a hair-dresser. But no ammonia or peroxide? No damage? It just DEPOSITS color. People of our hair sitch/quality have been being ripped off and sold a bill of goods!! We don’t need it!! Just use this! I didn’t even do all the things because I was in a rush. I washed my hair in the shower and put less than half the bottle in, tied my hair up, then did everything else so it was in my hair for 25 minutes, then rinsed. I will NEVER bleach, dye, highlight, use another drug store box again. There is no need. I don’t know why this is some secret. It’s FABULOUS! There’s NO NEED to damage your hair!! Tell your friends. Tell your mothers. Tell your daughters. COLOR-DEPOSITING is where it’s at!! There’s no need to destroy our hair when we can just add some color to the gray and the rest of the color is lovely! Yes - it’s a little messy and different from what we’re used to. Just do it on the day you’re gonna do EVERYTHING (shave everything, slough your feet, exfoliate your entire bod, brush your teeth, clean your shower, ETC.!) Or put it in and get out for half an hour then go back in and rinse it out. THIS IS IT! It’s a no-brainer. The girls at the salons are too young - they’re all focused on all these processes and chemicals and have no idea the number they do on older hair. Do yourself a favor and up-level to COLOR-DEPOSITING! That’s all us mature gals need! They’ve been lying to us. DO THIS!!

Made my grays look like highlights
I’m happy with this. I used medium warm brown to cover grays. I wanted them to look like highlights in my medium to dark brown hair and it worked. The color is NOT medium brown over gray. It looked more like a light copper brown but that works for me. I’m happy with how long it lasts too. I kept it on for 30 or 40 minutes I think

Great product, please don't ever change!
My friend began coloring her hair with a different shade of this product, & I noticed over the weeks how shiny/healthy her hair was all of the sudden. I asked what she was using, & she attributed her hair health to switching to this hair dye from one of the harsher brands, as well as a new conditioner she'd been trying. On gut instinct I tried this hair color product, & I'M NEVER LOOKING BACK!! 😍💃🕺💕👏👏 It is wonderful!! Where have you been my whole graying life????? Aaaaah! It's ok at least I've found you now, my precious. 😍😂 To apply, it is a smidge more tedious, for me, anyway ... you first have to gently shampoo your hair with whatever shampoo you normally use, then after a *very light* towel dry, apply this product. Note: It does Not come with gloves, so BYOG - Bring Your Own Gloves - to the shower / application experience to avoid the dreaded Oompa Loopma color stained hands. I've tried it both ways, & in my experience, just putting it on blindly while standing or sitting inside your shower seems to work best. Trying to stand over your bathroom counter so you can watch in the mirror to see what you're doing during application is a not-needed drippy, sloppy, aggravating pirate-mouthed drama you *just don't need*. Just put your waterproof (vinyl, latex, etc) gloves on, hop into the shower, shampoo just 1x, rinse, wring your hair out a little bit in-shower, then apply the coloring product just trusting your gut & your gloves to work it through your whole head of hair from scalp to end. Also just a tip, the product seems to work better the wetter your hair is to some extent, so that's another reason to go with the in-shower method. I also brought a handy-dandy hair tie into the shower w/ me, so that after I'd saturated my hair with the color product, I put my hair into a bun so as to avoid the constant color-dyed streams of wetness dripping down me while I waited the necessary time for the color to do its job. The box recommends 25 minutes of wait-time once you've applied it, so I just use this time to bathe, shave, etc. Then all you do is rinse & condition normally with your own conditioner. (No conditioner included, but that's ok, the results are worth it, trust me.) If you must leave the shower to go chill somewhere for the 25 minutes while you wait for the dye to work, I'd recommend the bun idea plus tying a plastic grocery bag over your hair to further prevent drips/stains. It looks JUST AS TRASHY (haha no pun intended) as it sounds, but it works super great & you can just toss the bag after use. (Or recycle, of course.) Anyway, the results of this hair product ARE FABULOUS!! The very very first time you use it, you may see some small tinges where the product didn't knock away alll of your grays completely. However, not to worry, because after a few weeks when you're ready for the 2nd application, the color 100% builds upon itself & your grays WILL be covered after that 2nd round. Any small gripes with this product are so worth it, because ... IT DOESN'T DRY OUT YOUR HAIR! Hooraaay!! 🎉🎊 My hair is shinier than ever since switching to this product just 4 weeks ago! Happy dance initiated!!💃🥊👏💕💃😍 Thank GOD for this product honestly, because my hair had become so fried out from regular coloring, I was about to give in and just go gray all the way, but I really didn't wanna! And I don't have the tax-bracket-status to visit a salon more than say, oh, once a year. So please, you owe it to yourself to at least try this product; I have a lot of hair, about medium-length, & I get 2 full uses per bottle. Which makes it affordable (aka possible) for me to buy. Go for it, you won't be disappointed! 💖

Seal the cap to prevent leakage
I ordered the 1st a few months ago, got it good. The color went on good, but the grey's pushes through quick as always. Ordered 2nd it came bottle cap open some leaked out, I closed cap and requested a replacement. The replacement came and same thing cap opened color leaked out. So someone can't just checked the cap is closed and seal it for shipping. Especially with coloring it should have a seal. Don't think I'll be buying again

Glad I found this!
Easy to use on clean damp hair. I let the color sit for 30 to 40 minutes. It surprisingly covers the grays! It lasts through a couple of washings but does fade each time. Overall, this is a great product for me. My hair grows quickly and I was over processing it with permanent hair color. This is a good inbetween solution. The plus is that it seems to condition my hair and leaves it very soft and shiny.

I really love this hair colour it’s very difficult to get hold of and is generally very expensive however as amazon gave me £5 off the price plus free delivery it was very welcome. Honey brown or ( cedar red brown) is hard if not impossible to buy nowadays. If this procduct were available at an affordable price for me it would be a repeat order constantly. It gives grey hair a unique colour. 👍

I had been using Adore semi-permanent dye for over a year and decided that I wanted to try something that looked closer to my natural colour (a dark ash brown). I found Clairol Beautiful Collection and was very nervous to try it out, but it has ended up becoming the only dye I use. For reference, I have fine, wavy shoulder-length hair that is about 30-40% grey. Here are the details you probably want: Pros: -Darkest Brown and Medium Ash Brown are lovely shades. They look good even as they’re fading. -This is a no-mix formula. It comes ready to use in the bottle and you can use as little or as much as you like and store the rest for later use. -It barely stains my skin. If there is anything that does stain, it usually washes out the next morning. -It has very little odor (and I’m sensitive to fragrances/odors). -It doesn’t stain my bathtub or tiles or counter. It wipes right off, even if I don’t notice it right away. (Adore dyes are not quite as forgiving.) It also washes out of towels with just a normal wash. -I typically wash and condition my hair twice a day (I’m a swimmer) and the colour bleeds very little after the first couple of washes. -Application is easy and only takes 30 minutes to process on my stubborn greys. -The colours are blendable. I often mix Medium Ash Brown with Darkest Brown. -When the colour fades, it makes my greys look like light brown highlights. I love that! Cons: -Light Ash Brown pulls too yellow on my grey hair. -Since I wash my hair twice a day most days of the week, it doesn’t last long. I need to recolour every 7-10 days. If I was washing only once a day and not swimming, I bet it would last at least 3-4 weeks. Some people may find that too short of a colour life but I usually have grey roots by week 3 anyway, so I don’t mind. -You need to apply this skillfully and use a processing cap if you want to have successful grey coverage. Other products are forgiving, but this one will “reward” you with almost no grey coverage if you don’t follow good colouring technique. I get excellent grey coverage by sectioning my hair, applying it in thin layers with a brush, and wearing 2 disposable processing caps while processing, to keep the dye moist and my head warm so it penetrates fully. When I tried with only 1 cap, I only got about 70% grey coverage. -If you wash your hair with warm/hot water, the longevity decreases substantially. Lukewarm or cool water will help it last much longer. You can use warm water to wash out your conditioner, though. The colour doesn’t bleed out once your hair is properly conditioned. -It’s more drying than other formulas I’ve tried. I’ve had to step up my conditioner game to make sure my hair doesn’t lose its shine or break. (I do NOT recommend their grey hair product line because it’s even worse for drying out hair.) -The prices vary a lot depending where you buy it. At Sally Beauty you can expect to pay CAD$15.95 when not on sale and $9.99 to $12.95 when it goes on sale. It’s much more affordable on Amazon, with a regular price of CAD$11.95 and the option to Subscribe and Save. -The bottles are not sealed. This is why I don’t add the dye to my Subscribe and Save because I’m too afraid it will blow up all over my groceries in the box. Amazon bags the bottles in a plastic bag about 70% of the time. The rest of the time they just sent them in bagged in a bubble mailer. Yikes. Despite the cons, I love this dye. It’s so easy to apply and so close to my natural colour. I also like how pretty it is when it fades. Definitely recommend!

Product was spilled all over. And badly sealed with a tape (only one bottle out of the 3 I purchased ??!)

I've used a few different shades and the light natural blonde is my favourite. If you're looking for grey coverage use the version in the grey bottle, this one isn't really meant for grey hair. Additionally, sticking with a neutral shade (i.e. anything with N in the colour name) is much better for grey coverage. 6N Toasted Hazelnut (grey bottle) is also a nice colour to consider and is my second favourite, it's a light (level 6) neutral brown shade.

He usado las mismas botellas, antes del cambio de botella y nunca he tenido ningún problema. He estado usando tanto el burdeos como el negro durante unos seis años. Intenté usar dos de las tres botellas que compré en dos días y no le hizo nada a mi cabello.
