This is my 2nd one - great product
Until now I have never paid more than 15 bucks for a flashlight, but I received one of these as a gift a couple years ago and it convinced me that there is a higher class of flashlight. I dropped my first one from a lift while doing a high bay repair. It fell almost 25 feet and survived. Sadly it couldn't survive a subsequent 8 foot drop to hard concrete so I bought this one to replace it. It is obviously sturdy, but the thing I noticed most is its reliability. Unlike cheap LED flashlights, this light doesn't flicker or dim during use. When the battery life is up it shuts off and the blue light ring flashes telling you it is low on charge. I have only used this light with the Nitecore 3400 mAh batteries. With how much I use it (10-12 times per week)I can typically go for a couple of weeks in between charges. This light has a swivel head and a strong magnet in the base which makes it quite flexible. It is a great gift for anyone who works as a tradesman.

Awesome, compact flashlight
This flashlight is versatile. It has 5 levels of brightness well suited to any need. Even though this is a compact light, its brightness is quite impressive. One will notice the quality of its construction when it’s held in the hand. The magnet is strong and securely holds the flashlight in a horizontal position. I’m an industrial mechanic and although this is a “tactical” flashlight, I use it often in all power settings throughout the day in large machines and to light up low-lit indoor work areas. I haven’t once noticed the brightness of the light dim, even in the slightest, because of low battery power. Yes, this flashlight is a bit pricey, however good tools are an investment. I’m glad I bought this flashlight.

It has turned out to be great everyday light
Weird little light to get used to. From the battery to the button operation. But its the brightest and longest lasting light on one charge that I have even had. I really like it a lot and will buy another one soon.

Probably the best camping/emergency/backpacking lighting system ever.
Super compact, super bright, rechargeable light and a very easy to use recharging system; the battery has a built-in charging port so you can re-charge the battery with a battery pack or a standard usb charger. Very intelligent design on the part of the light; angle head means you can be hiking after dark with the light clipped to your belt or shirt or hat; comes with two holsters. Solid engineering and manufacturing with every possible attention to detail. I carry this guy everywhere, including work. It has multiple brightness settings including SOS and rescue modes.

It's not perfect, but darn good.
It's a great light. Bright enough to be very useful without being ridiculous, same with the throw. Good balance between flood and spot, again, it goes far enough to be useful without being able to be obnoxiously seen from space. Great carry options, nylon sheath, clip, and plastic holster, all compatible with molle. Very strong magnet on the flat surface on the butt of the light. 4 solid light modes + 2 Strobe. Articulated head is extremely useful in conjunction with the magnet mounting. EDCability: It's a bit of a thicc boi to be pocket carried in an EDC context, but only slightly, and could absolutely be done, especially with pants like vertx delta stretch with the mag pockets. Unfortunately the UI in my opinion is a bit slow to be suitable for an EDC context, turning the light on and off requires a brief hold of the side button, and "straight to turbo" requires an even longer press of that same button, which is difficult to find by feel alone, but DOES have an illuminated ring once activated. All in all, possible to EDC, but definitely not ideal, and much better suited to an around the house or car utility light. My only real complaints are the semi awkward and slow UI, and the fact that it has no charging port on the body of the light, thus requires you to extract and charge the battery via micro usb on the battery itself, or a dedicated 18650 charger. Speaking of which... will any 18650 work? Nope... because of that aforementioned micro usb port on the battery, it's length is about .25 inches longer than a standard 18650, so Nitecore proprietary batteries only.... Otherwise, it's a great value light, quality made by a reputable manufacturer, with performance that doesn't disappoint.

Bad flashlight
Extremely disappointed with the flashlight my husband got me for my birthday the end of July. The end of September it stopped charging or lighting. Right now it's a useless item

Great flashlight, not very durable
I do love this flashlight. Let's start there. It has a very strong magnetic base, 5 brightness modes, the 90 degree swivel head, and is rechargeable via usb-c! I used it as a work flashlight so it was put through the trenches and was put to the test on its durability. This is where I slowly became disappointed. It was only ever dropped from a max height of 4ft and after just 4-5 times of it falling did it start losing functionality. Currently mine can only use the lowest brightness or max brightness and nothing in between. Which is frustrating since it is a pretty expensive flashlight market as tactical and durable. Again, I loved this flashlight when it worked properly but now its become more annoying to use than anything with the diameter setting and brightest setting being my only options. If you dont drop it at all you will love it. But we are all human and things happen especially doing labor work. So if that's you treat it like a baby and you'll be fine.

Amazing little light
Great work light. Been dropped from 10+ feet multiple times on hard surfaces and it's still running strong. The magnet on the end is strong and being able to pivot the head is a game changer
