Winsome Wood Assembled 36-Inch Windsor Chairs with Curved legs

I bought 4 of these (2 sets of 2 chairs each) for just $110, which was a real steal compared to similar Windsor-style chairs I looked at both online and in local stores. 2-day shipping was free since I use Amazon Prime, which is a fantastic savings if you shop here a lot.The chairs arrived fully assembled and I was really happy with the very sturdy wood they are made of. The seats are SOLID and comfy (no cheap particle board here), & have a nice smooth finish. The white paint is unfinished, just what I wanted because I'd planned to customize them. I painted over the white parts in hunter green & dark red to match my log cabin decor, and they look just beautiful around the oak dining room table. The white is very easy to paint over; I just used a few coats of simple spray paint (Krylon brand).If I had room for a kitchen table & chairs, I would definitely buy more of these and keep them in their original white color with a matching farmhouse-style table.The chair backs are very comfy, are of standard height, and the rounded design feels good on my back. You can really relax in these at the dinner table, and can easily hang your feet over the rungs on the bottoms if you like.Highly recommend these wonderful chairs! :)

I ordered 4 of these chairs back in July of 2011 and they're still just as sturdy and strong as the day they arrived. We have a couple of chip spots from the past year but that's to be expected with kids sometimes. I think things like that give furniture some character when you have kids. :)I'm actually getting ready to order 2 more of these chairs, so we have 6 instead of 4. I thought of getting a whole new table and chair set to seat more people but decided to extend the life on this one. The table that I have was actually an expensive set that I bought in a furniture store back in 2005. Over the years, one by one I lost chairs. So these chairs blend nicely with the table. The table is oak.The chairs were ordered on 7/1/2011 and shipped on 7/5/2011. That was a holiday weekend, so that's probably why it took so long to ship out. The 3rd was a Sunday and that Monday was July 4th. (I just checked the calendar on my computer.) I received them exactly 3 days after they shipped, I can remember. They were well packaged and there was no damage. Maybe one or two chip marks, but minimal. I love these chairs and am so glad that I bought them. They're very sturdy for the price. I would like to add that I have 2 teenage sons that are each about 6 foot tall and weigh close to 180 pounds, these chairs have handled their weight and the weight of their teenage friends that are also big guys.

I READ THE REVIEWS ON THESE CHAIRS AND THEY WERE MOSTLY POSITIVE. THE PRICE WAS REALLY REASONABLE BUT THE QUALITY OF THE CHAIRS IS NOT. I WOULD HAVE GLADLY PAID MORE TO HAVE THEM ALREADY ASSEMBLED (THEY WERE NOT)AS I THOUGHT THEY WERE ACCORDING TO THE DESCRIPTION. LOTS OF NICKS, SCRATCHES, PINHOLES, AND THE WORST OF ALL IS THEY DON'T SIT FLAT. NOTHING WORSE THAN A ROCKING CHAIR BECAUSE OF UNEVEN LEGS. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS INITIALLY REALLY GREAT OFFERING ME ANOTHER CHAIR. WHEN IT CAME IT WAS THE SAME AS THE OTHER ONE IF NOT WORSE. NOW I HAVE 2 CHAIRS THAT ROCK (AT LEAST 3/8-1/2" OFF THE FLOOR ON ONE OF THE BACK LEGS). WHEN I TOLD THEM THIS THEY SAID I SHOULD TRY TO MAKE ONE GOOD CHAIR OUT OF THE TWO DEFECTIVE ONES THEY SENT.....END OF STORY. CRAP SHOOT ON GETTING ONE THAT ALL THE PARTS FIT RIGHT. THE HOLES DIDN'T LINE UP ON ONE OF THE CHAIRS....SEAT BOTTOM TO THE LEGS. DISAPPOINTING.

UPDATE: These chairs were $69 when I initially purchased them. Since then, the price has gone up significantly. My *inexpensive* comment may not apply, but the rest of the review stands.These are inexpensive, very sturdy and good looking chairs. I selected 4 of these chairs to match a table that I have. After searching locally, I was unable to find a set of chairs to match the table. My goto website, Amazon.com., has yet to fail me in hard-to-find items, and with a few keywords, I found the exact chairs that matched my table. Free Shipping with Amazon Prime is great.These chairs are well built, and I am not a small person. The paint and finish appear very durable for mass production chairs.One of the chairs I ordered was damaged by the shipper. Returning the chair to Amazon was a cinch; I set up the return online, and I had my replacement BEFORE I had shipped the damaged chair back to Amazon (and at no cost to me other than a little packing tape). How awesome is that?

These are good chairs. The set of 2 for the $80 is an amazing deal of your looking for chairs.These are not going to be high end dinning chairs. They are great kitchen chairs!They are perfect in our kitchen. We have a 12 for table that my husband made and we're in. Need of 8 to 10 matching chairs without breaking the bank right now.These are perfect. We ordered 2 at first to test them out.They came fast and Put together!They have a light wood finish and white trim as shown in the photo. There are a few defects I could see in one chair the white was not a complete smooth serface. But really nothing very noticable and nothing I would say was unreasonable for a $40 chair.They come put together so you open the box and put them at the table and you are ready to use.They are kind of light not to heavy. Not sure if they are solid or not. I would guess not and think the white is a type of vynal. But I have no idea and didn't read about it or look it up. To me it didn't matter. I'm sure somwe here you can find that information if needed.They look really nice and are very easy to clean. With many children we need something easy to clean. And they are.We were please with them and thought the deal was great so we are ordering more and should have them in a few days.Shipping was free and it takes about 5 days. I think this is very fast for shipping and am very happy with how fast them come.Very please. Yes I would recommend these chair. Anyone looking for some nice looking affordable kitchen chairs these are great.
