Nailed it! This is the quality I expect from DeWalt. I've used these a few times to drill and tap holes. Haven't had any problems attaching to the new holes.

This worked well I broke an aluminum bolt into my engine i used this to bottom out the bolt plus re thread and it did just that no struggle.

Works as intended. We have used them in steel, aluminum and alloys. No issues.

These drill/taps work fantastic. It is amazing that the hold up as well as they do. 2 thumbs up.

Great addition to the tool bag, would recommend going slow, and deliberate. Use cutting oil if you have it to help the longevity of the bit. Also don't let anyone who has never tapped a thread before use them, had a coworker needing to tap a thread for a custom cut lid we had made in the field. Proceeded to use it like it was a drill bit and snapped it off in the work piece :(

probe el prodcto durante una semana y ya no tengo 2 de ellas,algunas recomendaciones para los compradores. Hay dos sets que lucen identicos y no hay ninguna especificacion sobre la diferencias entre uno y otro, el mas caro alcanza a perforar hasta 1/4 de pulgada y el barato hasta 1/8( este set es de 1/8) recomiendo comprar el de 1/4 vale mas la pena,. segunda recomendacion uselo solo en atornillador de impacto en el taladro si se desalinea ligeramente se rompe,tercera recomendacion no lo use en aluminio aun que el aluminio es mas suave se atasca y se rompe,cuarta recomendacion use aceite para roscar para lubricar como el tap magic, para que la punta dure mas con filo

These combination drill/taps work well. I've used them on mild steel, aluminum, UHMW plastic and even hard maple. The latter was just to try if it worked on wood - it did but slow down the feed rate and back off frequently. On aluminum it worked great and no lubricant needed. With mild steel use at a slow feed rate with cutting oil, and back out frequently to clear the cuttings. They haven't been used enough to declare them ideal for frequent use; for occasional home shop use they seem good value for the price.
