100% Pure Treadmill Silicone Oil - 500ml Bottle

Needed to clean down and lubricate our running machine. Lubricant is delivered by means of a pipette supplied by the manufacturer. Being frank, the pipette is rubbish. I would suggest buying a small to medium sized pipette made of glass or stronger plastic. It didn’t draw the lubricant into itself well. Also, I suggest you wear gloves when doing this. Lubricant is placed under the treadmill onto the metal on which it travels; machine is then run for a couple of minutes. Actual lubricant is great and should last quite a while as only a relatively small dose is required, so it is value for money. Treadmill running great. Lubricant is recommended but buy a decent pipette and wear gloves.

I finally brought my treadmill out of storage after more than a year, and the belt was completely bone dry. When I first turned it on, the screeching noises were horrendous - I honestly thought the machine hadn't survived the move. Thankfuly, this oil got it running smoothly again. I applied a generous amount under the belt, ran it with no weight for a few minutes, and then walked on it at a low speed. The noise vanished completely after a few minutes of walking and the belt is running like new again. If you have a treadmill that sounds like it’s dying, try this. I'll be making sure to use this as part of regular maintenance to keep it running well. I had read some other reviews claiming the bottles arrive underfilled, so I decided to test this immediately. I poured the contents into a measuring jug and can confirm it was exactly 500ml, though it's probably worth checking yours also when it arrives. The included applicator cap is very useful for getting under the belt making it much easier to apply the oil, though it can be a little messy when you finish pouring. I’d recommend having some kitchen roll on hand to catch any drips, but otherwise, it does the job perfectly.

Does the stuff, the applicator makes it much easier to get under the belt than the puny bottle that came with my treadmill. Only reason it's not 5* is because of poor packaging, and I saw a review that showed it's less than 500ml, which I suspect is correct as the bottle looks slightly smaller than expected, but still enough to last you until Armageddon.

This is pure 100% silicone oil, and I think the price is so good because you have to buy it in bulk. Other brands offer smaller containers but cost more per ounce. I use my treadmill a lot, and I go through silicone oil rather quickly, so this larger container works best for me!
