Built to Last, Easy to Install
Exceptionally well-built and easy to install. This faucet replaced the rusty utility sink faucet in our basement. The material and machining quality is excellent, making for an easy installation. Water flow is unhindered and the faucet movements are smooth. Great functionality and value for money.

High quality sold brass faucet
Well made, heavy duty laundry sink faucet that will be mounted on a post to be used outside in the summertime to bathe the dog with hot and cold running water. Solid brass with attractive appearance. Used Teflon tape on fittings to prevent leaks.

(Mostly) Easy to Install (Assuming You’re Happy to Plumb)
Hubby wasn’t pleased with a quote a plumber gave us to install a similar faucet PLUS the cost of the faucet. This one looked exactly like the one that cried uncle in my basement utility sink. It arrived within a few days of ordering it. My (very handy) son had it installed in 20 minutes. He came across a little snafu but I think that had something to do with plumbing more than the faucet. The item works exactly as it should and appears to be of solid quality.

Original style brass laundry tub faucet
This is heavy-duty brass faucet that I have had on the laundry tub for a few years now and it's holding up great. I had a plumber install it and there are no leaks, creaks or drips and works as good as the first day installed. It replaced a similar style that was 60 years old, hope to get that many years out of this one.

Great
These are excellent faucets. I returned mine because plumber [and me] didn't want to do sheetrock work on a finished wall. The water line fittings are on the top - OK but didn't fir our plan.

Works just fine with Pex and the appropriate transition fittings
Our money-pit's basement came with an enormous concrete utility sink that was served by two hose bibs on the ends of some galvanized pipes. We re-plumbed with pex and needed a simple faucet for this sink. For whatever reason the inlets on this faucet are listed as NPSF instead of NPT. I decided to be a rebel and use NPT threaded fittings and teflon tape. Everything is holding just fine so far. I had a pair of threaded 1/2" NPT brass nipples and a pair of 1/2" FPT x 1/2" PTF Sharkbite brand couplers in our box of random plumbing parts. If I were buying new fittings, I would have bought MPT x PTF Sharkbites. Attaching the faucet to the sink was a little more work. The sink is right against the wall and too heavy to move; the set screw for the faucet's mounting bracket is on the back of the fixture. By removing and swapping the handles and cartridges, I was able to reverse the faucet and allow the temperature handles to turn down towards the user to open the valves. GLOSSARY *NPT: National (American) Pipe Thread or National (American) Pipe Tapered, depending on who is doing the talking. Needs teflon tape or pipe dope to seal the connection. *MPT: Male (National) Pipe Thread, an elliptical abbreviation for male members of the NPT family. *FPT: Female (National) Pipe Thread, an elliptical abbreviation for female members of the NPT family. *NPSF:National Pipe Straight, Fuel. Straight threads instead of tapered like NPT fittings. Intended for fuel. *PTF: Push-to-Fit connection. Colloquially called Sharkbites after the brand. As the name suggests, you push to fit them onto the pipe, and installing them requires no other tools but a cutter for the pipe and your hands. If you are transitioning from Pex pipe to another type of pipe, this is the easiest way to do it. Depending on the manufacturer, these can be used for copper and cpvc pipe as well as pex. *Nipple: a fitting with male threads on both ends. *Coupler: a one-piece fitting that is "female" on both ends. A threaded coupling has a threaded female opening.

Good replacement for old laundry tub faucet
So far, so good. This replaced a very old basement laundry tub faucet that I could no longer replace the shut off rubber seats for to stop dripping. This replacement had the same dimensions which allowed an easy swap without changing any piping. I did try cheating the first time by leaving the union nut on the piping to see if that would work. It didn't as water started shooting out, but after unthreading that from the pipe above and replacing it with the brass nut that came with this faucet, there was no leakage.
