Sturdy - for very small piping.
I wasn't sure if the welting I was working on would fit these feet, but I had yards and yards of piping to make for an upholstery project and thought after doing some research, that these would make it easier. I had never used a welting foot. Unfortunately, when I added the fabric, none of these feet were big enough to keep the foot on the right track. They are so close in size to one another, that it is very difficult to tell which is the bigger size. There are no size markings. I tried using the biggest one, but ended up using my zipper foot for a tighter result. They are sturdy and I am sure they would hold up very well. Just be sure you know what size piping you want to make before ordering these by mistake, like I did. Frankly, my zipper foot did an excellent job, so I'm not sure it is really necessary to use a welting foot if you have a heavy duty sewing machine.

These Are Great - Worked Like Champs on my Brother LS-2125i
I bought these sewing feet for my Brother LS-2125i. At the time, I wasn't sure if they would fit since my machine uses an easy "snap-on, snap off" process to install and exchange feet. But I bought it anyway based on the description on the Amazon page that says it fits all low shank machines, including Brother. I am happy to report that they do indeed fit. They are not of the "snap on" variety but all I had to do was remove the foot holding assembly (all it takes is a turn of the screw) and the Distinctive feet installed quickly and easily. And, they were fantastic. I was making my very first sewing project (a box cushion with piping) and these welting feet worked like champs. Made the process very easy. I highly recommend them.

My new best friend
At first when I got these I thought they weren't going to fit on my Singer Curvy, which has snap on attachments, but if you unhook the part that has a screw in it, remove, and attach the piping foot with the screw it fits! Now for my review of the product. I usually use a zipper foot to make piping, which is ok, but I needed something that would work better at attaching the piping to a cushion cover. I'm impressed! This little tool is now my best friend. It sews right up to the piping, and my corners look fabalous! I sew upholstery for extra income, and this attachment will save me so much valuable time. Love this and would highly recommend.

Makes quick work of small to mid size piping and braiding
Very handy tools. Made quick work of sewing up piping on a Pillow. These are for a low shank like a Brother sewing machine. Do not expect that you will be able to run the really large 3/8" braiding that you see on Upholstery, because it is so thick that the feeding mechanism and needle going up and down will likely not have enough travel space to make good stitches. This is because the needle actually goes through the piping on these feet, versus to the side. For really thick braid use a zipper foot that you can move to the edge of the piping.

Easy to Install and Use
I am really enjoying this product. I use a 20-year-old Kenmore low shank machine. The welting foot fit with no problem. I had already made my piping using a zipper foot and 3/8 piping cord. I used the 1/4 inch welting foot to sew the boxing and piping together to make a seat cushion. It worked fabulously - the seam is so close to the piping that you can't see my previous stitching on the piping. This was much easier to work with than I had imagined. The feet looked cheap when I took them out of the package, but worked just fine on 4 layers of heavy fabric.I would definitely recommend this product.

Excellent!!!
Absolutely love these! The price was right, yet these are heavy, sturdy pieces. I've been making a lot of piping and these are a lifesaver. Here are a few extra tips. After I make my piping, I use a few dots of fabric glue to tack the piping where I am planning to attach it. After it's dry I sew my fabrics together as usual. Before turning the fabric right side out, I go back over the piping using one size smaller foot than what I originally used. The piping will be a little too big to fit down into the groove. I stitch around the piece again. This stitches so close to the piping that when you turn it right side out you will NEVER see any of your stitches exposed.

Huge time saver
These feet fit my Elna perfectly and wow do they make putting in piping a breeze. I'd love to have one more the next size bigger. I used the largest size for upholstery piping. I read that someone else went back and used the smaller size to put in a tighter seam but I did not find that necessary at all. There are some great you tube videos to show you how to make turns with these feet.

Worked great, good quality.
I was a little worried that these wouldn't work, as some of the reviews weren't very favorable but I love them. I made new box cushions with welting on my outdoor furniture and they came out great. I used them for both making the welting and attaching it. I had no issues with the corners but I always make my welting with fabric cut on the bias. I was using heavy Sunbrella outdoor canvas fabric and these feet worked very well even through 4 layers of fabric. My machine is a 1957 Singer which is low shank so I had no issues with compatibility.
