The good: I loved how well this costume looked! My son's girlfriend chose Beauty and the Beast for her sweet 16 bday party so we took a chance on this last minute and it looked great! The fit was pretty much spot on he is about a Lg/XL men's and ordered the XL. He is 6 foot and the length of pants and sleeves were perfect.The Bad: As many people have commented the buttons on the vest come off very very easily. Within the 1st hour of the party 2 buttons were gone. But the end of the night they all were gone. I would absolutely have a seamstress reinforce them better as they are literal on there by a single thread. Being this was a 1 time wear we didn't stress too much about it. We will have buttons sown back on and he can wear it for Halloween with her if they chose.The vest and jacket are all 1 piece and the pockets are not real pockets. Overall it is decent quality minus the buttons!

This costume wasn't very thick, but my husband wore a long sleeve shirt underneath and it was perfect for a cool evening. It wasn't to short or tight. He was able to move around freely.

My wife is a big Hamilton fan and wanted to dress up as George Washington for Halloween! Bought this costume early to ensure we are all set in time and aren’t rushing like usual.I’m a bigger set guy at 6 foot, 240 lbs and I got the XL size. It fit great actually. Better than expected and pleasantly surprised. Pants were comfortable and roomy due to the elastic waistband. The coat was slightly long in the sleeves but overall not an issue. I’ll be wearing a shirt underneath as it only comes with the neck/bib thing and the coat.My only complaint was that when I opened the package to try on the costume- 1 button instantly fell off the coat and another button was hanging on very loosely; no joke “by a thread”… I’ll be getting all the buttons reinforced and tightened so I don’t lose any of them. Overall good value but watch out for loose buttons…I would have given this a 5 star item but the buttons literally fell off when I pulled out the costume. And for $52.00 bucks- I would have hoped these buttons were more secured.Other than that… the costume will work out perfectly! Plus- Being an elementary school teacher, this historical costume will work out just fine for my students during Halloween so this was a win-win!

Worth the price! Nice quality material. Buttons are flimsy and could send extra buttons when they pop off! Everything is the costume except the shoes and socks. For reference size 5’11 and 195 lbs and got the standard size. It was just right, comfortable and not overly small or big.

My son loved how comfy it was. It came with the whole outift except a hat and wig. The only thing we didn't like after wear for an hr at a party he had lost 6 buttons on it. Not sure it the button were loose but with just walking around they were gone..

Fits true to size (color me shocked 😳). Wasn’t expecting that, but it was a pleasant surprise. Definitely read the size chart before purchase. The sleeves are a little long for me (typically wear a 34/35 sleeve. These are more like a 36/37). Nothing a rubber band can’t fix though. Quality overall is nice. Some of the buttons seem loosely threaded, just be cautious of that. Totally recommend purchasing this for colonial or beauty and the beast cosplay.

Ordered an extra large since only X small, small, X large and standard are available. X large is extremely large.There is medium available and there is also no size measurement chart. Have to return this. But now I do not know if the small will be too small.Overall quality is not great. Looks good in the picture but is more of a one time use costume.

I do not recommend this item. First off for the price I expected better quality. The buttons are all almost falling off and the coat is poorly sewed. Speaking of the coat, it came damaged, was obviously worn, was wrinkled, and missing several buttons. The costume package was damaged and taped (the Amazon package was not, so this was from thr seller). The pants were entirely missing as was the jabot.Do not recommend.

Everyone loved the costume!!!

My girl wants to be a beauty and she want me (5'4" normal width female) to be a beast. All other costumes are for men and fits too big, but this one fits perfect!! Jacket fabric is thicker than I expected. I like the firmness of it. Overall well designed, but buttons popped out with gentle touch. I'm thinking to re-do them all.

I got the Standard size for my hubby for the next Halloween dress up for the office and when giving away candies to the kids. It did fit him well. It came with the pants with elastic waist band, a bib that is meant to look like a white inner shirt, and the blue coat with yellow vest. Only downside is the flimsy buttons, which others have mentioned in the reviews. It's a no biggie if you're like me who can do some quick reinforcement by hand sewing the buttons. If I didn't have to go through the buttons part, this could have been a 5 star rating. 😉
