Well made! Still going strong and looking great after a very hot summer and a snowy/icy winter!
I got my soft tri-fold for my 2019 RAM CREW with the short-bed back in July 2019, but, wanted to see how it faired with the elements and the brush type car washes first before reviewing. It is well made, fits tight, absolutely no water gets in in and my bed has been 100% dry all of the time. It goes on fast, folds up quickly, and has just been awesome through a very hot and Sunny Summer and than a Winter with much snow lately (we just got 13 inches) plus freezing rain on it and a weekly brush type car wash (in which it proved to be water tight!). I did use some vinyl lotion protectant on it during the summer and before winter set in. It's kept the cover looking like new and protected it against the elements. The covering on this has not stretched out much at all. Any soft cover will "wiggle" a bit from the air turbulence going over it, but, my Gator hasn't gotten any worse nor changed at all since the day it was put on. No warpage or any other issues noted on the corners either. I have seen other brands in which the corners began to lift up, revealing the metal frame under them. My Gator has none of this as an issue. I also used plenty of lotion on the corners to protect them, ...maybe that helped too. This soft cover simply proved to be as good or better than what local dealers are selling other brands for $250+ more. 9+ months so far and still good as new and for the cost of around $220, I don't think anyone is going to find a better high quality and low priced soft cover anywhere they search. 5 Stars all around. I may in a year or so, move up to a hard cover and if I do, i will choose Gator first again if at all possible!

Great value, water resistance impressive.
There's nothing I dislike about this product, but there are several things I like. First and foremost, the thing I'm most impressed with is how water resistant this cover is. The seal is amazing for a tri-fold cover, or any cover for that matter. We've been on several vacations, with rain on every single one, and never has anything in the truck bed been wet. I'm just amazed at the seal. The value here alone is amazing. The tri-fold design is such a convenience, a huge improvement over other covers I've had in the past that require removing the entire vinyl from the framework, or rolling it up. This cover is two clamps removed, then two safety connect clamps removed, it's so fast and easy. Installation and removal is such a breeze. Two clamps, and 2 safety strap clamps and the cover is easily removed. I live in NY so I remove it every winter (to prolong life and so I can weight my truck easily with snow), It takes about 2 minutes to remove, a little longer to install so you can get it square, maybe 5 minutes. The easy and quickness for installation and removal make it easy to give this cover a good rating. Longevity: I bought this cover in 2021, It's now 2023. It still looks new, no issues with degradation. It looks good and doesn't leak, still easy to install and remove. Value: The value is huge, such an inexpensive cover compared to others but performs so well. I'm really happy with this purchase and will buy again, whether because this one eventually fails, or I buy a new truck.

2012 Ram 1500 Gator EFX Hard Tri fold
Ordered Wednesday May 6 and received Friday May 8. Carton was in perfect condition and install was easy and straightforward. I did some minor adjustments to get the corners to sit more flush and seal better, but it's real easy. It looks great and folds easy. Haven't had it on long enough to experience rain yet, but I would assume some rain might get in but will likely be negligible. So far I love this bed cover and will update later if my opinion changes. Also, for those wondering what size bed, mine is the standard "mid" bed size or 6'4". The more common short bed is 5'7" but I would think that fit and assembly would be the same for that size. Update: I've had it installed a couple months now. The rubber seals on the top sides seamed to seal up better after being in the hot weather after a couple weeks, and have had no rain inside the bed. At first I got a tiny amount of water in the rear corners, but I assume those rubber seals weren't quite sealed yet from being folded in the box. So I am impressed with the quality of this tri-fold cover. Update 2: Six months in and this cover has proven to be a great buy! It hasn't leaked any rain into the bed ever since the rubber seals weathered into place. Removing it to load my 4 wheeler is stupid simple and goes back on just as easily. It has held up well to quarter size hail earlier this summer. No dents at all. I just spoke to a guy with a Bak Flip who has dents from hail, though I don't know what size hail he encountered.

Impressed so far.
I researched all covers before deciding to go with the Gator. I'm sure you could pay more, but I doubt you could find one that is better than this cover. Looks good, easy to clean, fairly simple to install. I read the installation instructions, viewed the parts list, and installed with no issues. With no help I had it clamped down in about 45 minutes. I could install it easily in less than 30 minutes now. I have noticed small amounts of water after hard rains; however, not enough to be concerned with. The clamps were much better than I had expected and worked perfectly. If you are not used to working with mechanical components, you might want to get a second pair of hands to assist in mounting the rails. Would purchase again.

Happy with purchase so far
Install was pretty easy did it alone around 30 min. The low profile gives it a sleeker look than my old tonneau that sat on top, its a bit thinner vynll than my old one so well see how it holds up. My old cover had support bars that you had to move after you roll up cover to place anything that sat higher than the level of bed. This cover the support bars are incorporated into cover so after u roll it up u are ready to load. With the my old one u got to still move 3 support bars and figure out where to put them and make sure u dont forget them when temporarily set them asided when loading. Forgot them a few times, had to turn around to get them. They also moved alot when driving on freeway, to the point they sometimes fell off. Not with these they stay in place on the cover so far no worries about where they are. At times unrolling solo can be difficult because the bars incorporated into cover can fall below the support rail the cover sits on so you need to walk around to the where that bars is and make sure its above the rail. Im sure it will get easier as I get more used to using this tonneau. Not having worry about forgetting my support bars is awesome who doesnt appreciàte one less thing to worry about. The only thing Im having issue is that after install I realize that the middle of my bed has been pushed forward just in the middle by the various things Ive hauled so the cover does not entirely cover the front in the middle of the bed no fault of the manufacturer, but will not keep water out from entering the bed. I contacted manufacterer and they respond quickly I just need to send pics so they underdstand my predicament. This issue would have been an issue for my old tonneau also but that truck the bed was not pushed forward so it was not an issue. If had that tonneau with current truck issue would ve been the same. Hopefully there will be an easy fix for my issue. But overall very happy with my purchase .

Worth it.
Fits as described. Easy install as long as you follow the instructions. Makes great seal, no water ingress as of yet.

nice looking cover with nice features
just installed this product so at the moment i can not speak to the longevity and durability. The product is delivered in excellent packaging and arrive with all parts. the cover appears to be well made and is super easy to install. this cover has tension adjustment which is a very nice feature given that these covers will expand and shrink with the weather. The latch is sturdy and secure and the water seals seem to be well thought out and should work well although i have not experienced any rain since installation. I love that this cover fits inside the bed rails giving me access to my stake pockets. One person installation took less than 15 mins. so far, a great cover for a great price as compared to other brands...highly recommended.

Love it!
Good price for great product. Put it on a newly purchased 2017 Ram 1500 Big Horn. Easy to install and use. Keeps rain and snow out of bed. More secure than roll-up since you have to unlock and open hatch to access. Have used a couple months. Will revise if I have any issues later.
