I truly like this DVD player. It was real easy to connect it to my flat screen TV. I usually have a hard time with instructions but I didn't need the instructions it was so easy and simple to connect it. to me it is great quality for the price. When I played my DVD it showed good color and good sound from the volume. i plan on getting another one for for my 2nd Flat screen.

Fantastic item. Works great. Portable. Easy to use. Great quality. I bought it to replace the CD player that died on my home stereo system. When my DVD player wouldn't play a particular disc, I tried it on this unit and it player fine! GReat job and great price and very versatile. Cables included too. A++

This fit the bill for my purpose as a single CD player for music. It replaced a multi-disk CD player for which I never knew what discs were loaded or in what slot they were in. Frustrating. I like that it came with the USB power block, all the cables, and a remote control. Easy setup, worked perfectly, and sounds great through my Klipsch bookshelf speakers. I can't comment on video performance as that is not my intended use. A couple of minor nits. Wish it had a 'next track' button on the unit instead of having to use the remote. Also would like the track number to display continuously on the display, but it does flash the track number every 30 seconds. This was one-tenth the price of the larger name brand dedicated CD players. This may not have the features and higher end DAC circuitry but certainly meets my needs for now.

What Happens if there is an Issue? This company WILL Surprise You I’m one of those “older gentleman” who does not have a lot of spare cash. And there’s not much that I enjoy on tv anymore. I do like music videos and watching older concerts from “my generation”. Unfortunately, at the worst time my DVD player quit working. I went on Amazon and purchased a very basic player from a company named TOJOCK. Never heard of them, but I thought I’d give them a shot. I excitedly set up the player – it must have been built on a Monday or something because it worked only half the time on my DVDs. Thought it was the DVDs fault, so I “went without” somethings for a couple of weeks to buy a DVD cleaner. Still 50% at best. Figured I’d contact TOJOCK to see what I could do. This company is DIFFERENT; while they stand BEHIND their products, they stand ALONGSIDE their customers too. I got connected with someone named “Choreo” at the company; he didn’t seem worried about getting their player back and just issuing a refund. Choreo wanted to help make it right so that I could watch my DVDs again. Apparently, CHOREO shared my story with his boss – I know have an even better player from them at no extra cost. AND IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY – Cher & Tina Turner never sounded so good! So, I HIGHLY recommend giving TOJOCK a chance. They will help if something goes awry instead of rushing to get you out of their hair. And Choreo, he sure represents their brand well!

This dvd player is fantastic, very easy to install. It comes with cords and a remote control ( you just need 1 battery for the remote). I like it because it is very compact. You can subscribe within 7 days to a 1 year warranty for free adding your Amazon order number. I think it is a good deal!

When people give low ratings and detailed reasons for a poor review, believe them. be forewarned. We have owned this since June. Was fine at first, but has been nothing but a problem in the last several months. Repeatedly stops during playback. Luckily, I read several reviews and found complaints which described our problem perfectly. One review suggested that you physically slap the top of the player and, hopefully it will start. That does work most of the time, but it's really annoying to have to be doing this all night long. If anyone knows of a quality DVD player at a reasonable price, please speak up.

Das Gerät ist erstaunlich wertig, liest auch ältere, verkratzte DVDs sehr gut. Das HD-Upscaling ist ebenfalls qualitativ gut. DVDs mit Region 1 werden auch anstandslos gelesen. Einzig der Sound ist etwas leise über HDMI, man muss den Fernseher ziemlich laut stellen. Alles in allem bin ich mit dem Gerät sehr zufrieden, fraglich wie langlebig es am Ende ist, aber das wird die Zeit zeigen.

This is an excellent DVD player in many ways. Compact in size, easy to set up, well made. This is a 10 out of 10.
