So much better than hardware store orange lenses!
I've used hardware store orange glasses for about 10 years now. Decided to finally get "real" blue light glasses and the difference is remarkable. Plus these actually make my vision a little bit crisper when I wear them. I'm a petite adult and these kids size fit perfectly.

Kids blue blockers that actually work!
We love these glasses. Bought them 7 months ago and they’re holding up perfectly, unlike previous pairs we’ve tried. The lenses do pop out pretty easily, which is the only downside, but we’ve never had an issue with losing them. The frames are slightly bendy which keeps them from breaking, and the construction is very sturdy - no screws coming loose, which was a major problem with other brands we tried. And best of all, they actually work. They block nearly 100% of blue light.

They fit my size-small ADULT face
My prescription glasses are 48-16-130. These are 47-19-131. They're working great for me, but I try not to look in the mirror because man oh man, the yellow lenses are not flattering to the area around my eyes. I like the material they're made of and they're very comfortable, even being a bit tighter than my regular glasses. I can wear them on top of my regular glasses. They sort of sit in front of my regulars; if I use them to watch tv in the evening they look goofy but they work fine. And yes, they do help with the blue light, so that I don't feel wide awake when I'm supposed to be getting sleepy. Previous to getting these I had been using amber sunglasses which helped with the blue light, but they made everything - including my phone, tv etc - way too dark to really see clearly. So if you're an adult with a head that apparently stopped growing soon after puberty, I recommend.

suitable for kids under 10
They seem to work well, But I returned them because they were too small for an 11 year old. More suitable for very young kids in the 4–8-year age range

The lenses pop out.
I wish I could give these 5 stars, because they are the most affordable kids blue blockers on the market that ACTUALLY block blue light, unlike all the other brands that are outright lying to you about how much they filter out. But the lenses pop out SO easily. I had to super glue them in because they would just fall out if stretched even the tiniest bit to adjust them. This is not ideal for an adult, but even less for a kid. In fact, your kids will make a game out of it. The ear tabs are cool, but my kids don't like them. They bother the back of their ears.

A must have!
After learning more about blue light, our circadian rhythm‘s, nighttime, and all of that I decided to get myself 2 pairs of blue light blocking glasses. I got a pair for when I’m at work while I’m on my computer and then I got a pair that were an amber colored lens for an hour or two before bed. Immediately after I started wearing them I noticed a huge difference, even though I never had any issues going to sleep at night. I’ve then decided to get my kids a pair each for bedtime, especially since it seems to take my 8-year-old son an awfully long time to fall asleep. ( In addition to implementing my kids wearing these glasses an hour before bed, if they are going to be on a computer screen for an extended period they need to wear them, or if they are going to play video games they need to wear them. And they are now required to eat dinner and any desserts two hours before bedtime.) Implementing these changes did take patients and time, but after 4 weeks my kids are no longer complaining about wearing the glasses or the change in color while they are wearing them and they are both falling asleep much better. My son even noted that he feels like his sleep is better and falling asleep is easier. I do try to get my kids outside when possible, we go to the park, we go swimming, we take hikes, but at night, at home we are surrounded by blue light. These glasses are a great way to get our body adjusted to night time and increasing the melatonin. The lenses of these glasses are amber tinted so it does change the color of everything. But they are sturdy glasses. My kids love the little box that the glasses came in and that’s where they put them when they are not using them. Great idea about that box! It also comes with an eye glass bag and lense cleaning cloth. Overall I am very happy that I made this purchase. And my kids like that they got to choose different colors of the frames.

My 8 year old son has very light sensitive eyes. In big box stores and at school with florescent lighting and of course screens he struggles. His eyes get red, watery but dry and he has a hard time focusing. I find those lights way worse than the actual sun. I went with the orange lenses and he doesn’t mind the colour change at all. They fit him perfectly and so far he hasn’t wanted to take them off. I tested them on some blue lights around the house and they completely block the blue light.. you can’t see it at all.
