So much fun
A great book. I bought the previous version for myself and my son. I buy this new edition for each new boy dad I know and everyone (born in 1989 or earlier for reference) loves it.

Old fashioned fun with your son / grandson
I brought this for my son. and we are working our way through some of the shenanigan's they have in there. We are off camping in a few weeks, and we know already a few great outdoor activities that we will be trying together. Good, wholesome old fashioned fun - And useful stuff too: This is what summer holidays should be made of for a 10 year old and his Dad!!

Not very Dangerous
I was Expecting a very mild form of the Anarchist Cookbook. It's interesting but pretty tame

Great for boys that are adventurous
Let your young one try new things. Many of these things can be done at home. Some of them need supervision, and some of them need assistance and safety gear. But, all the projects can be lots of fun. Has some interesting information (tidbits) as well.

??? Chapter 1 - "How To Pick A Lock" ???
The Double Dangerous Book For Boys is not for parents who are faint of heart. The title of the very first chapter is, "How To Pick A Lock", compete with detailed black and white drawings explaining the same. I bought this book for my best friend's child. I'm going to have to run the book by my friend before I give it to him. She's a laid back kind of person; her son is smart and well-behaved but still; I wouldn't give this book to someone not of legal age without asking their parent(s) to preview it first. I bought the first book, The Dangerous Book For Boys, years ago. It wasn't so "dangerous" but it was a fun and interesting book. It's been awhile. idk, maybe knowing how to pick a lock is a good thing to know these days. The world certainly is changing.

My son loves it!
My son loves this book! I think it makes him feel like he’s “living on the edge”, which is great for a 15 year old kid, but it is still safe and family friendly, and that’s great for all of us!

My boys loved the first, now I see them ploughing through this to get more ideas to keep them busy beyond screens. A+

My son was a baby when the first Dangerous Book For Boys was published, and my husband and I read it together in anticipation of the adventures we would have. Sadly we never did build the Dangerous book tree house.... but this second book comes out just in time for my son’s 13th birthday and couldn’t be a more timely purchase. Half Why Don’t You.... half geek’s paradise, the Double Dangerous book is the perfect antidote for screen obsessed Kevin the teenager types. We’ve already revisited forgotten games like Spoons and Flour & Matchstick, our daughter has attempted a jumping paper frog and a neglected Rubik’s cube has been dusted off. In a packed book there is something for everyone. For us, pencil catapults beat Great British Trees but even making a stink bomb is encouraged in our house when any family time together wins against fortnight. The house to build in the second Dangerous book is an igloo. Roll on winter.
