These hinges are a good deal for the money. I used 3 per for cedar closet doors (each door weighing approx 40 lbs. ) They handled the load well. The pin is not removable, but I ground off one of the peened ends and converted it into a removable pin. These are not heavy-duty hinges, so use a sufficient quantity to handle the load.

These stainless steel hinges are well-made and are holding up well. My project involving these hinges was an exterior one, so there is some exposure to rain. The photo shows the appearance 4 years out. The screws were badly rusted, which reveals that they are not stainless steel, like the hinge itself. I had a little difficulty removing them due to the rust, but did so and am replacing them with stainless steel screws. So if you are buying the hinges for an exterior project, also place an order for stainless steel screws (#6, flat head, 1/2" or longer).

These fit the narrow attachment point of the roof/lid on my bee hive. Stainless steel is a good plus. Very sturdy and not easily bent.

If you are looking for a robust hinge, these are not for you. Although they have their purpose for lightweight applications they were too lightweight for my application.

I made a cabinet for my crafts

I used these for 5 pairs of bifold closet doors, hollow ones, and they worked out great with 3 hinges per pair of doors. They have a nice brushed satin nickle finish. They are pretty sturdy, and while they might be thin, they were no where near as thin as others I had tried, one is pictured with several of these hinges. I went through 3 other types of smaller, weaker, thinner, non-finished hinges. I could not bend them, while I could bend and tweak the others. The only 2 issues preventing 5 stars are scratches and screws. The hinges came beat up a bit. They had busted out of their plastic bag, but they were all closed, so I don't think they scratched each other, but maybe. You can see them in the pictures. That was minor for me, you really can't see them in the closets, so I do not care. I cared more about the quality of the hinge, durability, strength, etc. The head of the screws are a bit thick so they don't screw flush. Again, this was not an issue for me, but it may be an issue for others, still not 5 star worthy. The screw heads did fit very well in my screw driver, so much that I manually over torqued and snapped the head off one, seen in the first picture. The screws are good quality, at least for screws you get with any hinges. But the heads are thick and I doubt would ever be flush without modifications. All in all, great hinges, I would recommend and buy again;I am pleased and I have 3 spares if I need them.

We've used these on several projects. They have held up well.
