Q: Could these work on a 2001 Ezgo golf cart?

Yes if it has a 12 volt power system, then the back mounting surface is not flat for the length. It has a half inch by half inch raised protrusion where the wires come out, so you would have to locate where you want to mount them, drill a half inch hold put the wires through, two stainless steel screws . Red wire live/ hot , black ground, very bright, I build custom campers and use these on my builds, I'm soon to buy more, some people have negative reviews for brightness, hhhmmm I could see these well over a mile- two miles away on both running lights and brake lights. I have nothing to gain by giving wrong information. I have built trailers for 49 years. The finest trailers out there. J. R.

I wouldn't think the lights need replacing. Sounds like you have an open circuit if both went out at same time. Probably nothing wrong with lights, not getting voltage to the lights. The wiring to the lights is broken or disconnected.

Q: Do you have a diagram on making this bar a third brake light?

Mine did not come with a wiring diagram. What I have learned since receiving this, is that to add a third break light to my Kayak trailer I will need a tail-light converter for the break light (Curt 56196). Whithout the converter wiring it to one of the turn-signal/brake circuits causes the third brake light to flash with the turn signal. From what I've read, the converter should solve this problem
