I love this visor hat - and I wore it everyday of my recent cruise. It is super cute, very wearable and resilient flexible. And it’s packable — the fact that it easily rolls up to fit in your bag is a huge plus!Be aware that this visor does not provide full / complete sun protection - which which I didn’t know until after.

I ordered this hat because it would serve the intended purpose of keeping the sun off my face and out of my eyes when I walk the dog. The wide brim is wider than I expected, but that’s likely my mistake by not better measuring against my current hat. It catches on my shoulder if I turn my head which is a little annoying but I may be able to manipulate the straw to avoid that in the future.The Velcro closure could be longer. I am a petite woman, but typically “average” size hats fit me great. This hat I had to adjust smaller and there’s hardly any Velcro to hold it shut. It looks like about a 2 inch stripe is all you get. I would whip a few stitches in it to hold it in place, except that would defeat the purpose of a roll up hat.The material feels quality for the price and my hat was essentially without any major flaws In craftsmanship. So that’s always nice.Overall, I’ll keep the hat despite the fit issues, but I don’t buy another of this style in the future.ETA: I’ve decided to return the hat. The fit issues and the shoulder catching has me taking it off within minutes of putting it on. A sun hat doesn’t do much good if it’s never on your head.

Very practical and good coverage from the sun. Comfortable. Big plus is that it’s foldable for travel and that it’s adjustable.

I absolutely adore this hat. I'm one of those extremely fair, blue eyed women, and I swear if you even mention sunlight, I burn! 😉 My hair used to actually be completely white, but that changed to a more golden blonde in my early teens. My hair gotdarker, but my skin did not and I am still extremely sensitive to the sun. I have to buy special sunscreen especially for the summer months that has to exceed a factor 50 to keep me fully protected, not to mention that I have to wear sunscreen year round., Melanoma runs in both sides of my family, and I had my first bout of pre-cancerous Melanoma in my large birth mark on my back & in 2 moles on my shoulder at the age of 12. Since then I have had to visit my Dermatologist for rescreenings every 3 years. I've been extremely lucky that it hasn't reappeared, however the dermatologist tells me every time to remain vigilant, not expose too much skin to the sun & ensure I always wear a high power sun screen. Iown a lot of hats, but this is truly 1 of the most favorites in my arsenal. Not only is it beautiful & fashionable, but it folds up so small you can take it with you with in a small bag or purse & not damage it in any way. Then when you're ready to use it again, simply unroll it, and wala it's a beautiful, full coverage sun hat once again. It's the perfect shape to cover your face, neck, fron & back, & a little of your shoulders from the sun. It also has this great opening to allow extra heat to escape, and allows for women to wear with pony tails, top knots or high buns while still getting the sun coverage they need. It comes in so many different colors, & styles that there should be 1 to satisfyevery women. This company has me as a loyal customer for life!

It's a very nice hat that would probably look really good on a tall person. It's very wide. I am 5ft 2in and I'm lost under the hat

I am SO glad I bought this hat. I brought it with me to Disney World and Universal Studios. It can roll up really small so was easy to travel with and fit into my day backpack. We were out in the sun for hours for 7 days in a row -- it was rough, but this hat was crucial. I get sun burnt so easily, and didn't at all this trip because of this hat.Throughout most of the day, the shade fully covered my face and most of my neck and shoulder area. I still wore sunscreen though just in case.Yes, it's big but it's structured enough that it's not floppy. I took it off and rolled it up every time we went on a ride or went inside somewhere; it was easy to stow away. Because of the way the hat is shaped, it doesn't cover the back of your neck so if you put your hair up, make sure you have sunscreen back there!Also note that because it doesn't cover the top of your head (like a visor), make sure your hair is not parted. My part got a little sunburned the first day I wore it but then I learned my lesson. The next days, my bobby pins would get really hot from the sun, but that was much better than a sunburned head!This hat is now my go-to staple for all summer outings!
